Breakfast was on the mezzanine level, 25 ringet and was OK, we mixed it between the hotel and 2 other cafes as some mornings fancied and english breakfast. Pool area was quiet, pool was not salt and was well positioned with a great view of the ocean. note there is no beach and the ocean cannot be accessed. Like many hotels i'm guessing the Bella Vista is still recovering from the impacts of covid, a lick of paint is required externally but general maint looked good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall good value for money, loved the location but you do have to hunt bars, cafes and restaurants down but they are within a 15min walk and are good quality."

- "I stayed with my family in D'sa motel in Jan 2014. The motel is located few minutes drive from the famous Eagle square and is surrounded by many Malaysian food hacker centers. It is also 5 minutes walk from the night markets and duty free shops. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He showed us different rooms ans asked us to choose the one we like. The D'sa motel is actually into two different building on the same street. The one where the reception is located is a bit dark and also the rooms were filled with strong chemical odor. So we decided to take the room in the other building. Our room is on first floor facing the road. The room was clean and of decent size. The air conditioning worked well. There was a small TV in the room which we never used though. Also on the ground floor there is D'sa restaurant which serves variety of Malaysian food. One thing you should note is it is very hard to find any vegetarian food around. We are vegetarians and we struggled a lot to find some food in near by hawker centers. Luckily one of the lady in the hawker center prepared vegetarian fried rice for us which turned out to be one of the delicious fried rice we ever had. Over all the stay was comfortable and satisfactory."

- "The whole trip was excellent considering the purpose of having a room in Langkawi is for us to sleep in at night as we spent most of our day outside. If youre looking to snuggle all day in bed this is not the place. The service was perfect. Asked for extra pillows, 5 minutes later they just knocked the door and tadaaa we have our pillow. On the contrary, the surrounding is a bit dark at night especially the entrance to get to the hotel. The rest is A-okay!"
