Our one concern was that our room was off a corridor that, because of the origins of the hotel, was really uneven and pethaps not for those of our age and slight unsteadiness. On mentioning it to the receptionist, she agreed and put a note on our file for our next stay. When we got to the hotel after 6 hours walking, the receptionist was unable to find our booking and charged us again. She later came to our room to let us know she had made a mistake and managed to refund the second payment. The room was fine but had a view of the next door fast food restaurant. There weren't any amenities provided in the room and cheap shampoo and body wash had to be picked up from reception. The hotel is out of town so difficult to get to on foot."
