The bed is fairly comfortable and the air conditioning helped in the heat, although its output is best described as "gentle". Downstairs, there is a vending machine for things like coffee, chocolate etc. Location wise, this hotel is not in the centre of Pau and we saw little evidence of public transport nearby. We had hired a car at the airport, which turned out to be really useful to explore the wonderful area of the Pyrenees. The one reason we may consider a return here is the excellent staff who were unfailingly polite, smiley and helpful."
