- "This hotel excels in every aspect. Our room was even ready early. The staff at check in were super helpful. The room was right over the square, and when the windows were closed, we heard nothing. Bed comfortable, breakfast above average and beautifully presented. There is easy parking to check in. We parked in a public ramp with a small walk just for ease of parking. Location great right on the promenade and easy to board the ferry too. Highly recommend. We loved Meersburg and wish we had booked an extra day. "

- "Meersburg and the hotel were something of a revelation to us. Only there for an overnight stay but will certainly be back. Our room was pleasant, clean, seemingly recently refurbished, and very well appointed / designed / set out, with guests’ convenience in mind. The hotel is directly on the lakeside, and our room looked out on to the ferry quay. Peaceful and beautiful. Parking is limited but we were offered a space just a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel - €15, which we thought was a bit steep. One other inconvenience was that breakfast is served in a sister hotel about 200 metres away, though a little electric shuttle is provided, if needed. This was more than compensated for, however, by the magnificent breakfast spread! A huge range of quality food and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had."

We got 2 single beds and the lake view was a very small piece of water between buildings on either side of the street. Reception were not helpful, arguing we had what we booked but I don’t think that is correct. No alternative was offered nor any discount for our disappointment. Room is in old premises without AC, very hot whilst we were there. All things to be aware of and Expedia should update their description as it is not what you are booking."
