That is a large, semi detached villa which is really beautiful and luxurious. Really enjoyed that. :-) The only minor remark is that the suite would be even nicer with a splash of colour. It was a little dull in regards to the colour choice. Some bright, colourful fabric and/or painting could do the trick. The pool seems a bit small in high season, I fear. Nevertheless a beautiful dark tiled pool with a nice view towards the lake. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and enjoyed a really very nice meal. Tasteful, nice presented dishes. It's only a pitty that there are not so many local dishes on the menu. Otherwise we would have had dinner more than once. The very friendly manager is present a lot and you can see that he cares a lot that his guests have a great time during their stay at the Sanctum."

- "We stayed 3 nights at Villa Inle Resort and enjoyed every minute. The villas are on stilts and the interiors are stunning with wood floors, romantic beds with mosquito nets reaching up to the 30' ceiling, large soaking tubs, and rain forest showers. The views are west facing with great sunsets from the large decks overlooking the lake, and the locals would bring their water buffalo to graze on the grounds. Every day they leave something new and special in the room (e.g. unusual Longon fruits, red bananas, etc). The first night the bed and entire room was decked out in flowers and every day a new pot of water with beautiful floating flowers was placed outside the door. I had 2 massages and 1 salt scrub at the spa and they were great. Ask for Ei Pyiu (sp). The reception was helpful in booking tours of the lake. We ate most meals at the restaurant which was good. The downside: many of the staff spoke poor English, their is no fitness room, and the transportation provided by the hotel to/from the airport was very expensive. We used Mr A Tun Travel Agency instead and paid half the price (they are on Facebook). Overall this was our favorite hotel in all of Myanmar and I highly recommend it. "

And the in-house massage service... nothing to be fancy about. Anyway, both restaurant just outside the resort are great! K2 especially, very consistent in their food quality!"
