- "I picked the Astoria Current hotel based on the reviews, and curious why it has the highest rating hotel in Boracay. When i came in, i was hesitant, the hotel lobby is at the back of the hotel, the road is narrow. But when we enter the facility there were two pools, they provide towels and has life guard stationed. the place is nice and the people are very friendly. The size of the room is not what i expected but it is descent and clean. The hotel is really near the beach and theres a lot of stores around, also a lot of bars and lounges, it’s a one stop shop. The people in the Citrine Lounge (shout out to Kevin, Reynan, rea, tom and iya)) has the superb service, you can ask them anything and they will try their best to provide each request. You can sing on their karaoke from 5-10 and enjoy their live acoustic on the Parasol buffet dining. We also witness the fire dance. It is really one of the best vacation. If i will come back to Boracay, i will definitely come back to Astoria. Now i know why the rating is 5.0. It’s too good to be true but yes, the rating is true, 5 stars is really what they deserve."
