My room was clean, pleasant decor and spiffy electrically operated blinds but it was difficult to regulate the temperature and I felt it was on the cold side. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. However for a hotel of its class I think there was a lack of storage space. An open hanging area which also holds a large ironing board along with a low cupboard. The bathroom was clean but I am not keen on showers over bathtubs and felt the anti slip of the tub itself was a bit worn so I didn’t risk using it. The restaurant was very good and the food delicious and competitively priced. Overall I enjoyed my first stay in the Europa. "

Bathrooms are fully equipped with all you need so you dont need to bring toiletires, soft and fluffy towels. Wardrobe has slippers and dressing gowns, perfect if you want to use the fab spa and pool facilities, there is also a safe in there. There are blackout curtains and the beds you wont want to leave. Exceptionally spotless and white and clean and soft and fluffy and there is air con in every room...I had breakfast room service every morning and started me off perfectly. I cant recommend this hotel any higher its my favourite in the whole of UK & Ireland and love my trips up from Dublin with no car yet can get around no problem as there is even a courtesy bus from the train station to the hotel, and two huge shopping centres within a 10min walk, incl cinema and behind hotel a big B&M which is so much fun to shop in, cant wait for my next trip!!! The bathroom is second-to-none, and simply oozes opulence. The large 2 person shower benefits from a top of the range shower, with overhead rain drencher and hand receiver. All fixtures and fittings have been chosen with great care, and are on a par with that of a 5-star rated hotel. Essentials such as shower gel and shampoo are also provided.

'The Place' provides all the amenities one might expect of small hotel, with the added benefit of a fully equipped kitchen, allowing for an increased level of independence. The luxury kitchen comes equipped with all the normal kitchenware - toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. However, with so many great restaurants and cafes right on your doorstep it seems unlikely that you'll even need to cook! Also provided is coffee and tea (a must in my opinion!).

There is also a luxury lounge area, complete with very comfortable leather suite, oak furnishings and large flat screen television, with Amazon Firestick and Netflix.
There is also high-speed fibre broadband servicing the entire property.

There is also a rear patio area, located off the kitchen - the ideal spot for a quiet glass of wine in the evening, or for those who may wish to dine al-fresco!

In terms of parking, there is free on-street parking directly in front of the property. There are also a number of surrounding streets which provide free parking, and also paid on-street parking.
