It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. It was very clean and everything is very modern and just beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to spend much time admiring the views because it was raining a and very windy/ cold. Without the kids we could have done more exploring but with little ones had to keep them in the warmth. The cottage has everything you need, even a dishwasher. There was tea, coffee and sugar, some little milk pots in the fridge. We bought our own snacks and water and ordered take away and collected it. My suggestion would be to add a bigger sweeping brush for those of us with munching kids. There is a small dust pan and brush anyway. In the garden there is a big hottub, a tv outside, seating area etc. I saw am outside heater thing in one of the pics before going but didnt see that in cottage A. Maybe next time i will ask so we can sit outside with some heat on. I would highly recommend and very safe for families. For the price, its a bit expensive to for us to stay often i think because of having four kids, but i think for 2 people the price was between 100-120 on some sites. We payed 289.00 for the night so a bit expensive. "

This small Garden Cottage is set in a picturesque farm on the North Coast, 2 minutes drive from Portrush. Visitors can visit the many beaches, golf courses and tourist sites within a few miles of the farm. Portrush and Portstewart have a vibrant restaurant scene catering for all tastes. Preferable to have a car as the public transport is not not close to the farm.

Guests have access to all of the property, internally and externally. The area to the bottom of the garden is currently out of bounds.

Neighbouring properties must be able to access their properties and also park at the rear of their own properties. We have a guest parking sign where 1 or 2 cars can be carefully parked to the rear while not blocking others.

Aunt Bessie's cottage is a recently refurbished 200 year old cottage with an American connection, modern amenities and historical features. It is located in the countryside outside the village of Kilrea, a short distance from the Giant's Causeway and other North Coast attractions. It is centrally located with the cities of Belfast and Londonderry an hour's drive from the property.

The space
The cottage which is approximately 200 years old has been recently refurbished to a high standard and includes modern facilities and comforts as well as maintaining some of the original features and characteristics of a Northern Irish cottage. It has four rooms which are in a row.
There is a large, spacious bedroom containing a double bed and a sofa bed to the right of the main entrance. The adjoining living room has a log burner in the original fireplace and a vaulted ceiling with skylight. There is a TV and a comfortable sofa and chairs provided. The kitchen has been fitted with a modern kitchen and contains a fridge, dishwasher, cooker, hob, toaster, kettle and microwave as well as a table and chairs. The bathroom and utility room are on the left of the cottage and contain an electric shower, a slipper bath and a washing machine. The CH controls are also located here.
The cottage faces south and in sunny weather is bathed in sunshine from morning to evening. It is enclosed by a wooden fence which creates a private space. Seating is provided as well as a barbecue. There are several trees nearby and birdsong fills the air.
The cottage has Tourist Board approved status.

Guests may use the entire cottage and the grounds which are enclosed and situated at the front of the building. This includes a small garden shed.

There is a double bed and a sofa bed suitable for 2 children in the bedroom.
