- "Very comfortable stay and good breakfast. The Sahara room was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The only fault was finding the place as the sign at the top of the road indicated a different hotel, so we drove past it and had to ask a neighbour. The shower was filthy. There were a lot of big black bugs in the room. The owner said they were crickets and all part of the countryside.. that’s fine I just don’t want to have to spend all night removing them from the bedrooms. There were at least 6 in our room The smell in the room was like an old school library, dusty and horrible. The bedrooms had a “theme” and to be honest was just tacky. I would have liked a coffee in the morning but because our theme was Asia I was expected to drink it from a bowl.. simple coffee cups would have been nice! The rooms were full of so much junk and clutter so it’s impossible to keep it clean. There was no reception area or bar or restaurant just bedrooms so it all felt rather odd that as soon as you walked in to the hotel your just standing there hoping the owner heard you enter and waiting for him to appear from some door. My recommendations is to book breakfast at the hotel. I paid in advance and had to pay again during check-in. A message to the hotel resulted in a refund the same day. If I am after a budget hotel convenient for those motorways, I would use it again. "
