Room was spacious and comfortable overall, though our AC didn't work (fan came on but didn't provide cooling) - would have preferred it a tad cooler in the room but it wasn't a hot time of year during our stay so wasn't a huge deal for us in the end. Staff was helpful with getting us parking below the hotel (garage). Walkable to nearby restaurants, bars, peñas, and the main/central plaza, though we often just grabbed a cab or ubered (Uber is limited but does exist there, though cabs are well marked and easy to grab). - "No frills hotel with a pretty good value and good location. Breakfast was great, lots of options provided and served early enough in case you have an early excursion. Not sure if this is common with other hotels in Salta but the hotel key card have to be left behind with the hotel every time you leave, and they didn’t really check for our id when we came back to get our room key from a different staff, which is a bit of a security concern. Room was pretty clean, although the shower curtain had some mold on it, other than that I had a pretty good stay at this hotel."

For example, my bathroom was very tiny, to the point where my knees would touch the opposite wall while I was sitting on the toilet The Poor: - My room was adjacent another establishment, so noise from next door was common, via the window, though generally tapered off around 11:00 PM. Also, the interior hard surfaces of the hotel (tile, hardwood doors, metal keyed locks) were conducive to noise transmission. - "Great all around. " - "This lovely little hotel is a bit outside of Salta in the hills of San Lorenzo. It’s a leafy suburb with vacation homes of the wealthy Argentines. The hotel is very cute: it has a large and beautiful garden with a pool. The property is adjacent to the river and it would be possible to spend several relaxing days here. The garden has a nice playground for kids and a ping pong table for teenagers. The rooms are simple but spacious. The hotel has an eco certification and doesn’t have a fridge in the room. The bathroom is adequate but not luxurious. There is no elevator in the building but staff will carry your suitcase up to the second floor. The staff was attentive to requests and provided a delicious dinner in the dining room. Though it is well off the beaten track, it is convenient to the airport. We appreciated this quiet location for our last night in Argentina before an international departure. - "We stayed a week here whilst exploring the Andes around Salta. This is a small but nicely presented hotel and has a great location a couple of blocks from the main square, and easy walking distance from everywhere else, including the bus station. Our ensuite room was large and comfortable with fridge, wifi and aircon. There was a computer in the lounge, as well as plently of reading matter. Some rooms are better, one small and on the street. Staff are delightful, we really felt at home here and amongst friends. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were helped with all our many queries and problems, and really useful advice about the various trips available. Parking for our rental car was arranged locally by the hotel. The owners, Veronica and ??, speak excellent English (the others don't but are charming and helpful). There is a nice rear patio with seats and a grill which we didn't use as it was the rainy season. Note that this is the "furnished balcony" referred to on internet booking sites; you won't get a private balcony! (Visited Dec 2014, review delayed as we have been away a long time and are sluggish....)"
