The breakfast buffet and restaurant area is beautiful and the lobby is spacious and comfortable - perfect for visiting with friends. The restaurant staff are also very polite and attentive. Our room had a sea view and it was amazing! We had a great view of the beach and El Morro with the Christ statue and flag. The room was also gorgeous. It looked just a nice as the pictures, if not better. It was also quite spacious and it and the bathroom were laid out very well. This might be silly, but the different lighting options in the room and bathroom were really nice. The bed was also super comfortable and the room was quiet. I seriously can't say enough good things about this hotel. If we ever find ourselves in Arica again, we will definitely stay here."

- "Location" - "Restaurant and pool facilities were great and staff were very helpful. Hotel could do with some upgrading as it was looking poor in areas and in need of some modernisation. Our patio door didn"t lock and the safe was not secured in the wall which was a bit disconcerting. These issues did get resolved... eventually. There was a wedding on Friday night which went onto after 2.30am with loud music and we were in a room facing the pool which had no sound proofing so a terrible sleep. It was the same Saturday and Sunday with party nights... they should let you know before booking that this is going on as I would not have stayed here if i knew of the noise level. When you leave the hotel and turn right it is a lovely beach area but do not turn left as this was awful, sorry. Nothing to see, unclean and didn't feel safe."

Door handle very loose creating a struggle each entry to open the door after multiple tries with the card reader, security safe quit working, hair dryer could not be used because the clasp did not release it from the wall holder, shower ceiling showed water leakage damage, air conditioner was extremely noisy and fan operated only on high. Depressing the low button resulted in fan blowing low momentarily before reverting back to high. Consequently room too hot for comfort sleeping. "
