We stayed three nights before our trek and one night after, and wished we would have stayed another day or two to enjoy the hotel and Cusco in general. We will definitely be back next time we come to Cusco! Note that during most of June, Cusco turns into a large celebration leading up to Inti Raymi, with dancing, music, parades, and fireworks. It's a great time to visit, however I recommend bringing earplugs if you stay in June as the fireworks do go off randomly throughout the day and night. "

- "The staff was very friendly and helpful " - "Our room was quiet and roomy for 3 people. Not many hotels have daily service after the pandemic, but Taypikala does. So we walked in a clean and tidy room every day after our activities. The front desk was helpful, we stored our luggages twice in the hotel. The full breakfast was excellent: the omlette station, hot food, cheese,ham, bread and rolls, cereal, and especially a variety of fruits. Not many hotels' breakfast can beat the choices of fruits offered by Taypikala. The hotel's restaurant served delicious food, and good service as well. The location is also excellent. It's so close to the Plaza de Armas, and Saint Pedro Market. We toured Cusco just on our feet."
