We loved everything about the stay , except for the fact that we didn’t get upgraded to the ocean view suite, even though we booked last minute and was told it was available. Part of what makes the hotels.com platinum status (180+ nights this year ) great is the comp upgrades. But this property seems to make excuses why they can’t. - "Everything is good " - "A modern hotel in the perfect location, one block from a breathtaking beach and close to Aventura Mall, grocery stores, and restaurants. Great views from the room and the swimming pool. What I did not like is a too cold room with AC that could not be adjusted. There was no hand/body lotion provided and it should be. The customer gets beach towels and two drinks per day whether he/she wants it or not, and is charged 30$ dollars per day for this. It should be optional."
