- "Amazing stay. Truely five star. I was upgraded to a seaview room with no extra charge. Everybody from bellboy/security, front desk, restaurant staff was friendly and caring. The location cant be any better. In the heart of the centre of most nicest pocket of mersin. You can go for a walk at the board walk by mediterranean sea which feels like miami without drugs and loud music. Wont feel like stop walking. The restaurant was amazing on the 14th floor rooftop with a to die for view. Breakfast had lots of choice. The restaurant manager came in, introduced himself and offered a complimentary omlette that was not in buffet. Made me feel very comfortable despite not knowing any turkish language. And by the way, they are the only facility i found in my 1 week stay in mersin where everyone spoke moderate to good english. Everywhere else, i had to use google translator. So good job divan management for training your staff and making the foreign guests feel comfortable. "

It was a hotel already selected by a friend so I didn’t really now what to expect although this is a good and well established hotel brand in Türkiye. I was much pleasantly surprised with a lot of things: the courteous service at the reception desk, the room’s spaciousness and condition, the housekeeping meticulous ness, the large Turkish bath style shower (yeah I know it doesn’t make sense but you should see it) we found in the bathroom (we found because it looked like a regular shower cabin door but opened into a much larger, “shower room”). The hotel’s location is also very convenient. I would choose this hotel next time as well, when I’m in the area. No need to try other global chains (which I am sure also offer similar amenities)."

Regarding place of hotel, it is not in city center, it is near to the highway which is helpful if you have to travel surrounding places rather than visiting inside the city. There is a shopping mall just across the hotel. Regarding rooms, I stayed in a double bed room, which was quite spacious. The bathroom was spacious as well with a duche not with a tube. The water was hot so no problem regarding using the bath. The windows were not easy to open, a little force was required. The air-conditioning was working but it is without any noise, so you may think it is not working. The room was clean. The television was rather small but there was DVD player as an asset. There is no carpet in the room which is good for allergic people. There is enough space to put your bags and luggage. There is a study corner with desk, internet connection and a desk lamp. The breakfast was good and hygienic. For restaurant I would say, there could be more choices. The menu was weak. In short it is a good choice for staying with a compatible price. I have stayed several times in Hilton in Adana and I can say that with a lower price you miss nothing. One thing I did not like was, there was no connecting room for families. Also double bed rooms and twin bed rooms were on different floors. Consider this when you stay in more than one rooms as a family."
