I told the hotel of this and there was a bottle of good cava chilling in our room and red ‘flower petals’ scattered on the floor. I had expected a charge but there wasn’t. Three weddings were being celebrated that day so lots of excitement but zero inconvenience or disturbance. I was a little concerned that the Castillo effect might be a bit tacky but it is a tremendous atmosphere, with grandeur and attention to detail. Dinner was great, staff lovely, especially Elizabeth in the dining hall What more can I say other than I look forward to my next visit ! "
