- "I stayed here for a week in February. The hotel is a little outside of the city centre but that suited me fine. The room I had was very spacious and even had a balcony overlooking the river and bridge. Staff are very friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. Breakfast was excellent and there is a choice of two restaurants on site for an evening meal: One serves traditional Hungarian cuisine, the other can only be described as a gastronomic experience! It's probably the best, most elaborate meal I've ever had in a restaurant and at a bargain price: 7 courses, wines, coffee and petit four for ~ £32!! I've never eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant but wonder how it could be any better than this? If you want something simpler, then there are a couple of choices about 5 to 10 mins walk down the riverbank: Restaurant Gisella is very nice and if you want a burger and a pint then the Fricska pub is great. The ONLY thing I'd improve is the bed: In common with every other one I've ever slept in in Hungary, it was hard!"
