- "The Wellmarin Hotel is a lovely hotel, with great access to Lake Balaton. We have no complaints other than that there is very little English spoke at the front desk, and we did not feel very welcome, in comparison to the rest of the hotels we stayed at in Europe. There was a gentleman who worked the evening shift who did go above and beyond for us. We were thankful for him." - "Useless receptionists who barely speak English, we complained when we realized air conditioning wasn't available to set up from the room and the heat mode couldn't be turned off, making it unbearable to spend time or sleep in the room! We asked for help in this matter and were promised it would be fixed however although cooling mode was now available it couldn't be set for less than 25 degrees Celsius! Breakfast was good however the dining room looked more like a refugee camp from the 50's! The one tiny elevator took hours to become available and climb to the 4th floor, and at checkout which is set for 10am) when we explained our discomfort we were faced with a couldn't care less attitude! The hotel was ridiculously over priced, and even the receptionist was shocked but what we were paying as we found out later was 4 times the price that other guests were charged! I never wrote a bad review, and wouldn't waist my time in doing so unless I felt so strongly about it."
