While there is a limited window to eat at the hotel (18:00-19:00), the buffet was good value and there is a resonable bar, which stays open until around 21:00. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I experienced a non-functioning TV, but this was resolved very quickly by the owner. There was a coach party staying, generally pensioners. Probably not a young persons hotel, but it has some charm. Sadly, the weather at Wittmund leaves a lot to be desired. I enjoyed my stay and will probably use this hotel again. "
