- "Everything is wonderful about this hotel, except the room. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even loaned us an ac adapter to charge our phones until we bought one. The hotel fits the area perfectly and is very close to everything. It was beautiful. Be sure to stop by the tavern next door and the ferry to Bornholm was extremely fun too. However, the room is tiny and quite stuffy with a bad odor from the bathroom that we could never find nor eliminate. The shower was the smallest that I've ever used, but that was somewhat charming. The bed was uncomfortable too. Having said that, I recommend staying here as part of the Ystad experience (which is incredible). "

All this can be found in Örmölla old beautiful school in Abbekås, by Skåne south coast's fine sandy beaches. The building is newly furnished with kitchen, dining room, showers, toilets and all modernities needed for comfortable tourist living. It is also accessible and we have a pavilion for disabled guests.

We who started and own Hotel Vagabond are two actors, who toured from Boliden in the north to the desert town of Timbuktu in Mali to the south. We have seen many places in the world and often lived a vagabonding life. The hotels have been countless. Most left no deeper traces, but there were some gems. – Such a hotel we dreamed of creating!

As we also have our own theatre -Teater Kapija- in the house we sometimes give our own performances and organise guest performances and concerts. We partner with many artists and creative friends who can surprise both ourselves and our guests.
