- "We booked this B&B to save a long drive home after visiting Tosselilla, we weren't sure what to do for dinner, we tried calling the hotel all day to find out if their restaurant was open, there was no answer on each occasion or call-back. We arrived in the evening, the room (number 3) wasn't a bad size, the beds were comfortable and after asking for a second pillow it was quickly brought to me. The room had a small sink which was good, because we had chosen a B&B with a "shared bathroom". We noticed that the "blackout blind" was not functional, the room was almost daylight, and so asked if the hotel could do anything, the girl at reception stated that she couldn't help and that we have to speak to the manager/owner ourselves, good customer service would be for the hotel to take our feedback and act on it immediately. Overall during our stay, the staff were quite abrupt/rude, and a little unfriendly. We felt like an inconvenience instead of guest, this little B&B really should focus on improving their customer-facing skills. I would suggest avoiding room 3, it is directly opposite shared bathrooms which means noise during the night. Also, the ceilings were regularly creaking from people walking around in the upstairs rooms. Breakfast was a cold selection with no hot food on offer, despite there being a full kitchen, it would have been nice of the hotel provided extra-paid options, for a bit of bacon. Overall, customer-service is lacking here, a little disappointing."

This is a place for peace and quiet. If you want to enjoy a garden, it is also available to you, as tranquility and few people are what distinguish this accommodation. If you want restaurants and entertainment, you have both Simrishamn and Ystad within 15 to 20 minutes. The entrance is through a rustic barn. The stairs are steep and the toilet is down the stairs and in through the door downstairs. See picture:)

Equipment consists of new appliances such as refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, microwave and combined washer/dryer. All new models. Fresh kitchen and bathroom. In the sleeping loft, one flight up, you will find two comfortable beds. Heating through waterborne underfloor heating.

The space
Entrance with dining area, kitchen and hall in one space. Door to bathroom. One flight of stairs up is a sleeping loft with two comfortable beds as well as a relaxation corner and a simpler decorated workspace. Four windows allow good light and views. The windows are placed to provide a private feeling with limited visibility from the property. All newly renovated and fresh.

Our guest house is located in Tryde just outside of Tomelilla. We live in the heart of Österlen with all its sights, cultural events and opportunities close by. There is something for everyone, whether you want to go hiking, play golf, swim, experience animals and nature or take part in the rich cultural offerings. We serve organic breakfast that is delivered to your own fridge.
The guest house is completely separate from the residential house and we follow cleaning recommendations from Airbnb. It is empty for at least 24 hours between guests.

The space
The house is located in a cul-de-sac, without traffic, in an old apple orchard. The accommodation is newly built with genuine materials, plastered walls, concrete floors, tiled bathroom, shower and toilet. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle, etc.

Guest access
In addition to the guest house, guests have access to their own terrace with outdoor furniture. You can borrow bicycles for shorter excursions and we can offer hiking packages. We know the area, hike a lot ourselves and have real gems in the forest, by the sea and on heaths and meadows. Everything from simple walks of 5 km to longer hikes of 15-20 km. A package can consist of transportation, map, packed lunch, guide and dinner in the evening. More information can be found in the accommodation, but please let us know in advance if you are interested so we can send you information.

The cabin is located about 100 m from the main house and includes a private BBQ area overlooking the pond. It has a full sized bathroom with toilet and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge/freezer, small over, microwave and coffee maker.

We have a private CrossFit box in the barn and you are welcome to join us for a workout if that is your thing. There's also an outdoor rig that you are welcome to use!

Guests have access to their own outdoor barbecue area with table, chairs and a charcoal BBQ (bring your own charcoal or buy a bag from us). There's a shared washing machine available in another building, free of charge. Locked bike storage is available.
