You will stay in a room in an apartment on a farm. There are several apartments, so a lot of people live on the farm. In addition, there is an area used by campers. So there is life on the farm, but it is also possible to be completely private. The surroundings are rural and scenic.

The room is not particularly large. Here is a queen-size bed, closet, a small table and TV (32-inch smart TV with Chromecast and Netflix). You have access to a large shower room, open kitchen and dining room shared with the host, which can be used for tea, coffee and light cooking. There is a fridge for storing some food. You have the option to eat either at the dining table, a small table overlooking the terrace or on the terrace if the weather allows.

You can reach in a few minutes on foot the lovely harbor environment, the good sandy beaches and Gilleleje east station, from where trains run directly to Hillerød and Helsingør. Only 1.5 km from the port of Gilleleje is the family farm Høveltegård with its lovely rooms. Idyll and atmosphere everywhere and tea houses as well as sun terraces including small lake. Our guest house is a typical annex for our city. It's kept in the old style and gently restored, so it's cozy and with a good atmosphere.
The space
With gæstehus he about 25 m ². It consists of a living room and kitchen with dining area in the same room, as well as a separate bedroom with a double bed 160x200. In addition to the bedroom, there is a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower.
Next to the guesthouse there is a smaller guesthouse of 8 m2, where there is a double bed 140x200, as well as some furniture. There is no toilet in this small house. The little house is suitable for a few children to sleep there.

Walk along our beautiful trails either out to our lighthouse or Søren Cemetery's stone. You can also enjoy cycling in our beautiful nature. There are many beautiful bike paths. 2 bikes are available with bicycle helmets during your stay
Or if you are going to a party either in the Gilleleje hall, at Hotel Strand, Kulturhavnen, etc., we are a stone's throw away.
We offer accommodation in a small cozy annex located as a side building to our bricklayer's villa from 1930, absolutely in the middle of Gilleleje town. However, it is still secluded that you can easily enjoy the peace.
We also have an extra room with its own toilet and its own entrance, which is located in our main house, which you also have the option to rent if you are more than two. Breakfast can be taken at an extra cost at Hotel Strand.
We are happy to receive requests for 1 night.

We have 1 small dog, Frida, at the address who loves to be out in the garden. She is well behaved here but does nothing and loves a pat. Therefore, it is important that our guests are not afraid of dogs or allergic.
We have an extra room with a double bed that can also be rented with its own entrance and toilet.
There is the possibility of purchasing a full breakfast at Hotel Gilleleje Strand. A stone's throw from here.
There are 2 bicycles, a lady's and a man's bicycle, with bicycle helmets. They can be freely used during the stay.

Our charming annex is located in the old fishing village Gilleleje – a few minutes walk from the harbour, beach, restaurants and shops. The annex is privately situated in the very authentic old part of Gilleleje.

Ib's house is unique in representing a traditional Danish summerhouse, which they were built when the Danes in their 30s and 40s got a taste for the joys of summer life on the Danish coasts.
The location on the "top" of Zealand makes the house a central starting point for all types of holidays; the beach holiday with the beach only 100 meters from the house, the city life of Gilleleje 4 km to the east and the "hip" towns to the west along the coast.
The space
The house is about 100 m2 with plenty of space to be together, but also to find a corner to be yourself.
In addition, the garden room, which quickly becomes the favorite room you can stay in from the very early spring until the end of autumn. It is quickly heated when the sun is out and with the location between the house and the garden, it quickly becomes the central room of the building.

Other things to note
The house is not suitable for wheelchair users as the doors in several of the rooms are too narrow, but you can easily get around with, for example, a walker.
The house has 2 bedrooms, where the smallest has 2 beds that can be converted into one bed, thus making room for a desk.

We call our house "The Guesthouse"; an indenpendent house and garden of total 2.500 m2, situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, in a quiet area, 200 m from the beach and 4 km to Gilleleje. It is a perfect base for exploring North Zealand and Copenhagen is only a 60-minute cardrive away.

The space
The house is located in a combination of a flower and nature garden with a small pond (with your own small boat) and an exciting wildlife. Here you meet duck, beehive, deer, the heron and a very rich birdlife.
There is virtually no traffic noise and with the wind in the right direction, you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the sound of the ocean.
There are experiences in the garden throughout the year. Should the weather not be perfect for outdoors activities, or you come in autumn or winter, there is plenty of space in the house to be together, as well as to retreat for yourself, in between.

Other things to note
Gilleleje is called the "spearhead" in the area that has been designated "The Danish Riviera." This makes Gilleleje the perfect starting point for (almost) all sports related to water. In addition, the area offers many offerings for scenic tours for cycling enthusiasts and wandering lovers.
A little further away, only 30 minutes by car, Elsinore and HIllerød are offering culture and cultural activities all year round and for all ages. All in all, North Zealand is filled with cultural offers, where you have to get up early to get it all for a (usually) short vacation.
