This is fairly common in Korea where many will shower or bathe with water immediately draining from the bathroom floors. The floors were clean so you can opt not to use the slippers. Wifi was pretty fast. Had four family members using and it did not lag. Word of caution, I was new to Daejeon and did not realize Daejeon was such a big city. This hotel is a bit far from the central part of downtown Daejeon. It's in the suburb of "Techno Valley". I can see this being a good business hotel."
