I arrived at about 00.30 in the morning and was greeted with such warmth that I was taken aback and this was evident throughout my stay . The bell boys , concierge service and front desk were excellent , Jackie one of the bell boys was so helpful with everything I asked him he even came to the station with me when I left although his shift was over . The restaurant and bars were great , food was excellent and staff again warm and friendly and very attentive . The general manager Albert was a very nice man , had a few drinks with him and he personally came to wish me a safe trip home , nice touch . - "Luxurious. I stayed in 3 IHG hotels on this trip and all were well managed and operated. This is a 5-star for sure, BUT it is located in a developing area. The hotel is isolated with lovely gardens, but no nearby businesses, even though stores and locations have yet to be filled. You can only access the hotel and its facilities. Breakfast buffet has many choices, but how much can one eat at a sitting. Other meals are available at regimented times at their Cafe and restaurant. The restaurant is not suited to solo travelers. It was wonderful to enjoy such luxury, if you don't consider what else is lacking in the area."

- "17yuan trip from the train station, close to universities and right beside a brand new mall with three floors of restaurants and some fun little shops. Far from old Zhengzhou so a 30 minute taxi ride costing about 45 yuan.
