We had their "menu al dia" which was exquisite. We were SO glad we decided to try their restaurant, because it is one of the best in Santiago! I have been to Santiago many times, and this is one of the best, in food and ambience."

The room (upgraded from standard) was spacious and generally very practical (although a bedside table in both sides would be an improvement). The style is older/traditional but also very functional. On one night, the weather was cooler than normal and some heating in the room would have been more comfortable but it was still acceptable and perfectly good the rest of the week. Food and service at breakfast and dinner, were very good indeed. Again the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We used the spa every day. It has a very good range of jacuzzis, jets plus a sauna, steam room, a very warm pool and an 'icy' pool too. All very good. (€22/day if not part of your room cost). Plenty of free parking is available in the hotel grounds. Easily walkable to the town itself. It is quite a steep climb but there is also a lift from outside the town walls, up to the town gate. An excellent place to visit the town and surrounding area."

- "This is a nice hotel that is a 5 minute walk to the old city. We paid extra for a room with a kitchenette which was convenient for keeping our breakfast things, making coffee and keeping our beers cold. There is a grocery store on the same road as the hotel, on the way to the old city. There is also free parking in a lot 2 blocks behind the hotel. It backs onto the castle grounds. There are two decent restaurants near the side entrance to the Cathedral and several more behind the Cathedral that have tables outside in a big sunny plaza. The staff at the hotel were really nice and helpful."
