The restaurant a short walk down the road was great (try the sweet spare ribs) and having the store in hotel was handy. Renting and being able to easily park a car at the hotel was handy for traveling outside of Amsterdam but research where you can park at your destination and be prepared for gas prices! The laundry was small machines with separate washer & dryer so plan accordingly if you have to do laundry. The busses to/from airport require ~15 minutes of walking - better to just ride share it if you have luggage. Also need to walk to catch bus into city. This is a perfect location if you're staying awhile, want to save a few bucks, and don't mind biking but you may also want to consider staying in a nearby city like Haarlem with a train that takes you into Amsterdam Central."

- "Amrath Apart Hotel was a very accommodating and clean during our stay there. It had the essentials we needed. We bought a few items like shampoo, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, sponge, and laundry detergent that wasn’t provided. Although the location is nice and in between airport and Amsterdam, it was still 20 min away from Amsterdam. So if your looking for more centralized Amsterdam and need the train station as your transportation, you need to pick a closer location in Amsterdam. We had to Uber on many occasions or figure out the bus schedule. No restaurant on site but there is a small market with snacks and drinks. No real food so you would either have to go to a 25-30 min walk to their nearest grocery or bring back food from the city. There is a microwave and fridge and hair dryer. Bed was comfortable and sheets clean. Laundry on site is free but you have to wait for others to finish laundry. I would contact true front desk if you waited more than 10 min on laundry that has been sitting in the machine. Otherwise, Ms. Patty and the Manager was very friendly and professional. They assisted us with our chaotic check-in and throughout our stay. We do appreciate you both! Thank you so much!"

At an ideal location in relation to Amsterdam (10 min) a great house for rent: Spacious, sunny and complete! On the ground floor there is a complete kitchen with all necessary kitchen appliances. It said it had a market with food etc but it has very little. No dairy, no fruit, no cheese , no bread just candy and you have to buy coffee tea and waters. The space
The Montana is an 8 metre fully equipped cosy boat. There is water, electricity and gas on board. There are two sleeping places at the front of the boat. In the living area, you can find a small kitchenette (including a sink, hobs, and basic kitchen accessories). The boat is fully carpeted for extra comfort.
Please note: There are NO SHOWER facilities onboard.
There is a possibility of showering at a gym near by.
It is a 15min walk to the gym and allows you to purchase a daily gym pass for 10euro with the use of the gym and shower.
There is a portable chemical toilet onboard, and there is a sink with running water for washing.
IMPORTANT this boat is not suitable for very tall people as you will not be able to stand up straight if you are very tall.
The bed has recently been updated so it foes sleep 2 people comfortable.

During your stay, the boat will remain stationary. The boat is not available for guests to drive.
I would kindly ask all guests to read carefully before booking during the winter season.
During the colder seasons it is very important to us that all our guests stay warm, for this reason we have a gas heater and a lot of extra thick blankets.
To guests who have not stayed on a boat before please be aware that when you are staying on a boat and you are mixing hot air from the gas heater with cold air from the boat, you are likely to get some condensation on the windows.
This can easily be wiped with a towel, which we also provide.
And this is also the reason why our prices are lower in the winter than in the summer.
In the winter season, the price of the boat can be as low as 50euro per night. This price is only the price of the boat.
If you wish to have the boat with heating then it's an extra 5euro per night so it is important that you let us know on arrival so we will arrange the gas bottle and extra service of the heating through the app.
It is very important that you respect the area and are aware of the rules.
This is NOT a party boat, and if you wish to get high or party, then you must do this away from the boat.
In the evening, we expect our guests to keep the noise down and respect the neighbourhood.
All in all, this boat is a unique camping experience with a few extras.
Those who have committed to it have certainly enjoyed their time, and it is very nice to see people enjoying themselves so close to Amsterdam centre.
As most of Amsterdam is built on the water, it deafenatly can not get any more real than this.

Very important The boat is no longer at the location of the listing as we have moved to zaandam in order to make it easier to access Amsterdam by public transport.
The new place offers free parking close to the boat.
Also a gym 15minutes walk from the boat where you can buy a daily gym pass which offers you the use of a shower.

Other things to note
Please note: Electricity to the boat is via solar power. You will have electricity for the duration of your stay. However, you must follow the instructions given to you on arrival to ensure this. Please do not expect to be able to run multiple electronical devices all day and night.
It is important to bring Usb cable in case you need to charge phones, etc.


On arrival, we ask at least one of the guests to provide a copy of their I.D. Refusal to do so will result in immediate cancellation.
We start check in at 4 pm til 7pm.
We will ask you to arrange an exact time with us during these hours so we can hand over the keys and give you thorough instructions about how everything works on the boat, giving you enough time to answer all your questions.
Any arrival after 7pm will be charged at 10euro for every hour past 7pm.

Really important if you are travelling with you dog please be aware that he must be small enough for you to carry him onto the boat as the boat is parked with the back end to the dock making it impossible for a dog to jump on by himself.

Our little wooden cottage, studioappartment is approx 20 m2 connected to our home and garden. It has a private entrance, as well as a door to the garden, a very comfortable 160x200cm bed, kitchenette and cosy dining table annex desk and central heating. There is also a small functional private bathroom with shower, comfortable sink and toilet. For a third person will be there a folded floor mattrass.
Fresh towels and bed linnen, coffee, tea are included!

Are you're looking for a cozy and comfortabel stay near Schiphol and Amsterdam? Our cottage is an ideal place to stay overnight for a transfer of the airport, a weekend of few days out to explore Amsterdam or a holiday home for a longer stay to explore more of the Netherlands such as Haarlem, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht etc. If you want to come with a third person I provide on request a simple floor mattrass with bedlinnen.

Our friendly neighbourhood is quiet and safe. There is free and easy parking on the available red spots in our streets across from our house or surroundingstreets.

Our place is only 10 car minutes away from Schiphol Airport and it will take you about 15 minutes to get to Amsterdam city center by car.
Badhoevedorp is right between Schiphol airport and Amsterdam city center. Nearby facilities, within a half kilometer a small town shopping center with supermarket, pubs, other shops, restaurants (Italian, French, Chinese and Dutch).

Free and easy parking in front of the house and on the driveway if available, 20 car-minutes to Amsterdam Leidseplein.

Tiny homestudio is NOT in Amsterdam but 5 minutes walk to the city limits. You have to travel to get to the centre.
To get to Central Station in Amsterdam by public transport count on approx 45 minutes. Realise this please! In case of other expectations and give a bad review for this.
Coming with 2 persons I presume you want the double bed. If want a separate mattrass there will be extra costs € 10,- for preparing and extra bedlinnen.

The wall at the bed’s head is also decorated with another one of the maestro’s geometrical designs, which is also the further inspiration for the choice of furniture in this room. Our family home is located in a beautiful, tranquil and leafy suburb of Amsterdam, called Badhoevedorp. We live in a semi-detached house in a quiet street, with a sunny garden and free parking spaces. The house is 120m2 (3-storey), it has one big master bedroom and two smaller bedrooms for our children. In one of our children's bedrooms, we offer a double convertible bed, in case you have guests. It is a warm family home and offers all the modern amenities needed.

The space
Badhoevedorp is attached to Amsterdam, just a 20 min ebike ride away, and very close to Schiphol, so easy to reach for tourists.

Our home is a 7 min walk from the village center where you have all the shops needed (from pharmacy to butcher etc).
- Our neighborhood is filled with families and there are plenty of playgrounds, walks and children's activities available.
- The Amsterdam forest is an 8 min car ride away and offers Amsterdam's finest nature.
- Q-beach is a fun restaurant with a good terrace and great food!

Also included are: hammock, bbq, jacuzzi and the typical Dutch 'bakfiets' - an ebike in which you can transport your kids! There is airconditioning in the master bedroom for our hot summer days :-) We have a big beamer in our living room for movie nights.

The arrival/departure hall is only 10min by car/taxi ride.
An uber to Schiphol Airport costs about 15-20euros.

A bus stop is a 5-minute walk away, with a connection to Lelylaan train station. From there there there is train or metro connection to Amsterdam Central Station.

Within 15 minutes, you can reach Amsterdam by bike, public transport, or car, and it's only a 10-minute drive to Schiphol Airport.

Haarlem is a 20-minute drive by car or 30 minutes by public transport.

The space
Groundfloor:
Livingroom: where you can relax, watch tv or read a nice book. from here you walk via the ensuite doors you walk into the eating area, where you find a large dinner table where you can have dinner with up to 7 people. From here you look into the open kitchen.

The kitchen:
Has everything u need and includes 5 burner gas stove, oven, multiple kitchen machines, a large refrigerator, dishwasher, and extensive crockery.

From both the kitchen and dining room you can enter our large garden.

1ste floor:
We have a large bedroom with a double bed (160cmx200cm) which can be expanded with a co-sleeper. And a children's room. In the children's room there is still a crib in the photo, but there is also a single bed (which can also be made smaller for small children). So here 2 children can sleep, one up to 3/4 years old and one up to 12.

The bathroom is also on the first floor.

The attic:
We have two more rooms in the attic with a double sofa bed and a single bed.

In the room with the double sofa bed is also a home office for two people.

In the single bedroom, you also find the washer and dryer.

This home is equipped with a security system with photo detection. There are two photo sensors: one in the corner of the living room near the garden door and one in the hallway upstairs. These sensors only work when the alarm system is activated and take photos only when movement is detected. During guests’ stay, the alarm system is always turned off, meaning the photo sensors are not active and do not take any pictures. Additionally, we cover the sensors for extra privacy. There are no cameras in private areas such as bedrooms or bathrooms.

This entire house is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam and has 3 bedrooms. The living room is large with an open kitchen. The seating area has a fireplace, so a really cozy atmosphere can be made. There is also a garden and two separate toilets. In addition, there is a bathroom. The house is located in Badhoevedorp, which is a small town attached to Amsterdam. With an Uber, you can reach the center of Amsterdam in 15 minutes. There is a possibility to rent bikes/cargo bikes.

The space
The house has a cozy living room where you can sit. There is a dining area with a large table for 8 people. There is also the open kitchen with room for 5 bar stools. The dining area has French doors towards the garden. In the entrance is a toilet.

The 1st floor has a large bedroom with a large double bed with an adjoining bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is another second smaller bedroom with a doubter and separate toilet.

The 2nd floor, which can just be reached with a staircase, there is a washing machine and dryer. Here is also a 3rd bedroom where 2 people can sleep well in a double bed. If desired, a crib can also be added to one of the rooms for a small fee.

The guests can use the entire house. There is only a walk-in closet that is locked. The rest are all freely accessible.

There is the possibility to rent bicycles. With these bikes you will be in the center of Amsterdam in 20 minutes. We are happy to arrange that for our guests.

Parking is possible in front of the door and is free of charge. There is a driveway where 2 cars can be parked. In addition, there is plenty of space in the street to park, which is also free. A charging place for an electric car is diagonally across the house.

Our guests appreciate our place because we are not far from the center, but are not bothered by noisy tourist crowds in our neighborhood. This ensures a wonderful night's sleep in the comfortable beds. During your stay you will certainly enjoy the aquatic life like a 'local'.

The boat has 2 levels; on the entrance level there is the kitchen, the heart of the house with large dining table and cosy fireplace. Here you also find the master bedroom with comfortable double bed and bathroom with shower and a bath, a separate toilet and the living area.

Then there is the 'underwater' level, where you find 2 bedrooms with single beds (kids bedrooms), a separate bathroom and play area.

Outside we have a large private garden, with wood fired hot tub and a separate guest house (with double bed). In summer months you can swim in the canal, as many locals do.

Neighbourhood
We have a good relationship with our neighbors and would like to keep it that way. The stay at our houseboat is a party in itself, but we are not a party location. So no loud music or discussions in our garden.
