There is a tram stop right in front of the apartment, but also several places to rent a bike (super popular here). Having said that, most things are walkable. (Amsterdam is quite small). Canal boat rides are also readily available as well as self-riding canal boats.
Parking is really expensive in the inner city (where my place is) so if you want to come by car, best to park in a Park and Ride. These are all around the city ring, and next to trains stations linking directly with Amsterdam Centraal (closest station to me).

The famous Jordaan (nine streets) is a 5-minute walk away. From my apartment you can reach the canals within a few minutes and you can reach the central station by public transport or taxi in 10 minutes.
With a good public transport network on your doorstep, you can visit museums such as the Rembrandt (Night Watch) van Gogh museum, Stedelijk museum or visit the Concertgebouw.
If you want to shop in the luxurious P.C Hooftstraat or go to the cozy Vondelpark, you can get there in just 3 stops. If the weather is nice and you even want to get a breath of fresh air, you can take the bus (80) to the coast (Zandvoort).
* The apartment has no elevator and quite steep stairs
* The property is inhabited by people who do not like noise, so it is not suitable for parties ad celebrations.

Affordable, homely and very centrally located guest room in the very old historic city center, close to Central Station and Dam Square.
It is equipped with all basic necessities. It is not a luxury room, but a spacious and very attractive clean room with its own shower and toilet.

Buenas Noches is a historical warehouse with all the modern facilities you want for a comfortable stay in the heart of Amsterdam. Additionally you could use on of the bikes to discover the city at a small fee . The Haven is situated on the first floor and the exposed wooden support structure for the roof and the lovely old windows make this room the most historical part of the house . The Haven makes use of the well equipped bathroom of the ground floor.

The space
Buenas Noches is situated in the exciting heart of Amsterdam just 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal.

The house is a three storey building with the ground floor shared with me and my guests from the top-floor (The Loft). The ground floor houses the kitchen where you may use the modern equipment to prepare lunch or dinner; while the adjacent dining/living area is where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner. The ground floor also contains a bathroom complete with a bathtub, rain shower, private sink and a toilet. The bathroom will generally only be shared with me and my wife.

The first floor contains one private room at the front (in which I live) and your room, The Haven, at the back of the house with four traditional windows, two on each side of the building.

The room comes equipped with a flat-screen television and an amplifier with CD player; a Nespresso machine; a water boiler; and of course a working desk. Tea and coffee are complimentary as is everything in the fridge, all to deliver you the authentic Buenas Noches experience.

Guests may enter Oude Braak from the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. The house has a small hall as you enter and the ground floor is generally a shared space for all guests. The bedrooms on adjacent floors remain private.
