- "We just stayed 1 night after driving through north and south parks." - "We did not go there because the address was a bad one it told us to go to 100 chateau road in Madora ND and there is no such address it took us to a grave yard. We tried calling and no answer " - "I reserved a two bed room like in the picture and paid $205. I was told that it would be ready for check in by three. When I arrived an around five pm, my room was not ready, I was shown that my nightly rate would be $109 and the room ended up only having one bed. I did not stay. Do not stay here. The kitchen has some cooking appliances, such as single electric burners, a crock pot, pizza cooker, roaster oven, toaster, microwave, full size refrigerator, etc. The bedrooms have a queen, full and twin size bed, respectively. There is a large sectional couch that can be used for sleeping in the living room. There are also portable cribs available for infants. The home is located in the country with beautiful views, on the bottom floor of a residence. There is a private tiled entrance for muddy boots and coats. It is perfect for families and kids. Toys are available in living room for kids to play with. There is WiFi, and a wide selection of DVDs and video games, along with a 3D TV with cable and NetFlix. This property is great for hunters and families!

- "Plenty of space to kick back and relax after a full day of hunting. Cell service is lacking in most areas around there but the WiFi worked perfectly and we were able to communicate through that. Linda was great trying to help organize a "rescue party" when we managed to slide off the side of a "gumbo mud" road. The sunrise is spectacular from inside having coffee but you'll want to step outside to take in the entire view. If I ever make it back out there, I'll be contacting Linda again."

- "We had a great overnight at the tiny house in Glendive. Our family of four was comfortable - dad & kid slept in the loft, mom and baby on the ground level. Our dog was even able to snuggle up on her dog bed. The internet & tv were great, easy to get to from the highway, and a comfortable place to stay after a day of hiking in the badlands. Things to be aware of for others: we thought there was a cooktop (probably our mistake but it looked like a small kitchen in photos), so brought food to cook - just a microwave! Also the A/C works well, but if you want to open windows, there's animal feed smell nearby, and neighboring RVs due to location in R/V park (which is not visible in the photos of the property)! None of these were issues for us, just transparency!"

The beauty of the area is awesome, alot of history, and very friendly people. The Tin Can Cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Stroll two blocks east of The Cottage to participate in venues at Terry's City Park. Enjoy the beautiful (& warm) summertime outdoor pool, made for toddlers, while including big-kid swimming & diving.
Let your ventures continue with exploring Calypso Trail, Scenic View, and rock & agate hunting from the banks of the Yellowstone & Powder Rivers.
With abundant public lands, fishing & hunting are also enjoyed in Prairie County. The Cottage provides an extra freezer just in case.

We are conveniently located near exit 215 off I-94 and are in proximity to Dawson Community Airport and Makoshika State Park.
The hotel is close to tourist attractions like Makoshika State Park, Frontier Gateway Museum, and Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum. We are also within walking distance of Gunner's Ridge (steakhouse) and Penny's Diner (open 24/7).
OUR ROOMS ARE NEWLY RENOVATED! We have newly installed hard surface floors, beautifully tiled shower walls, and freshly painted bedroom/bathroom walls.
Each hotel room has it's own, private bathroom with tub, hairdryer, full set of towels, and complimentary soaps. The water pressure is great, and the shower walls are newly tiled. Amenities include, Free Wi-Fi, Cable TV, A/C, Iron, Microwave, and Fridge in all rooms.
Parking is free and street parking is available for larger vehicles, such as trailers and RVs. We also have power outlets available throughout the parking lot for vehicles needing tenders, block warmers, etc plugged in during these cold months.
CCTV cameras are installed for the safety of the guests, and there are staff on site 24/7.

- "What a great hotel! Great deal through VRBO. The hotel manager kindly upgraded us without us asking so we could have adjoining rooms which was also larger rooms. Great grab and go breakfasts since their remodeling supplies were in the dining area. Much appreciated. They are remodeling so it could be a little noisy between 8am-10pm but we were out and about during those times or hanging out before bed. It would not deter me in the least if I needed to stay in Glendive again. Very nice accommodations and great staff. Friendly and attentive if needed. We forgot some things in the room and the manager called us to arrange shipping. I've never had a hotel call me for that. Very nice!"

Our favorite thing about this small cozy home is from the back of the house you can see the hills of Makoshika. This house has been recently remodeled with a new kitchen and tiled showers. Kitchen included a double oven, garbage disposal, microwave and fridge. Living room has a 47in TV with a Firestick TV remote and an electric fireplace. The 2 bedrooms upstairs each have a queen size bed joined by a Jack and Jill bathroom. In the basement you will find the master bedroom with a queen and the 4th room with a full size bed. The second bathroom with a tiled walk in shower. Washer & Dryer available in the house.

We had reserved the calendar until May 1st to allow time for the previous host to contact the guest in regards to their stay. Airbnb was unable to move any existing reservation to the new owner. Local bars, restaurants, coffee shops, local shops! 15 minutes from Medicine Rocks State Park, 1 hour from Theodore Roosevelt National Park, close to hunting access.
