Please note that there are some on and off construction projects in the neighborhood. The hours for workers are typical daytime working hours and any noises are not disruptive. Also, it's quiet at night and will not impact sleeping.. We haven't had and problems or complaints but it's something we feel we should mention.

- "Excellent location, off street parking, quiet, newer appliances, and furniture, comfortable bed, upgraded bathroom, large TV on the wall in living room, excellent communication with owner, and the heater inside works well. There is a large deck with chairs, dining table and grill. We did not use it because of the weather. It was mostly overcast, rainy and cooler while we were there in January. It is a loft with many steps and if you have heavy luggage, it might be a challenge bringing it up and down the stairs. You might want to bring extra coffee, and Kleenex. There is an excellent grocery nearby called Sprouts Farmers market, it has just about everything at reasonable prices, including ready-made food."

You’ll love it because it's completely furnished and opens through French doors to a spacious patio which was updated just this year with a built-in grill, gazebo, fridge (stocked with sodas and sparkling water) and lounge seating! A king sized bed, a meal prep counter, a full bathroom with walk in shower, smart TV, mini-split AC and heat, and high speed wifi (that works well enough to take a Zoom meeting on the patio) round out the space.

The Space:
This is a guest suite that is part of a larger home. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and totally private and separate from the main home. Also, there is a weightlifting rack and equipment on the property (please let us know in advance if you'd like to use it!).

Guest Access:
The patio and outside areas are shared with the other studio on the property and the owner who lives on-site.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in a safe, friendly and family-oriented neighborhood. You may find yourself invited to join the owner and neighbors for a Friday night neighborhood cookout (feel free to say no). On any given Saturday, you will probably see kids and dogs running past the house - if you've got a kiddo (or a dog), they will be invited to join!

Getting Around:
We always recommend a car to get around San Diego, but we are a just quick 5-10 minute walk to the Balboa Dr. trolley station if you wish to use transit during your visit and Uber/Lyft are also very convenient in San Diego. Street parking is readily available and free right in front of the unit.

Other Things to Note:
This studio runs on green, solar energy.

Want to workout while you're in town? We have everything you need in a fully stocked home gym including: squat/bench/pull-up rig, men's bar (20 kg), women's bar (15 kg), training bar (7 kg), bumper plates (5 - 45 pounds), jump ropes, box, bosu ball, training bands, mats, slam ball and wall ball.

For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.

No cats please. This is our full-time home and is completely equipped for your comfortable stay. When you visit we are either available in the adjacent ADU or we are off traveling somewhere having fun!
