You will have direct access to the (shared with owner) laundry room. Note: Your kitchenette and laundry room is the dividing room that separates your suite from our home.
The bathroom was built to accommodate a wheelchair. Shampoo and conditioner are provided. There are two ceiling fans. A mini-split a/c and heater. Two operable skylights are located above the sofa and also in the laundry room.

Please note that there are some on and off construction projects in the neighborhood. The hours for workers are typical daytime working hours and any noises are not disruptive. Also, it's quiet at night and will not impact sleeping.. We haven't had and problems or complaints but it's something we feel we should mention.

- "Excellent location, off street parking, quiet, newer appliances, and furniture, comfortable bed, upgraded bathroom, large TV on the wall in living room, excellent communication with owner, and the heater inside works well. There is a large deck with chairs, dining table and grill. We did not use it because of the weather. It was mostly overcast, rainy and cooler while we were there in January. It is a loft with many steps and if you have heavy luggage, it might be a challenge bringing it up and down the stairs. You might want to bring extra coffee, and Kleenex. There is an excellent grocery nearby called Sprouts Farmers market, it has just about everything at reasonable prices, including ready-made food."

This upstairs unit has a sunny living room with a 65" smart TV with Apple TV, and lots of games to enjoy with family and friends. The dining area can seat 8 comfortably. In the kitchen every convenience is at your fingertips; Kitchen-Aid range, convection microwave, Bosch dishwasher, and a Kitchen-Aid full size refrigerator with filtered water and ice-maker.
The king bedroom features a Casper mattress and the 2nd bedroom is a queen mattress.
In addition to the king and queen beds there is a self-inflating queen air mattress and a twin cot that can be set up in the family room. Linens are a high thread count with fluffy down/alternative comforters.
One bath has a shower and tub, the second has a walk in shower. A new, full-size, stackable washer and dryer are in the home.
Outdoor spaces are important to take in our perfect, year round San Diego weather. There are two patios, one with table and chairs and a Weber charcoal grill, the other with fire-pit and Adirondack chairs. Two balconies off the living room are a great spot to watch the hummingbirds and green parrots that live in our neighborhood.

Fire up the grill and relax in the cozy outdoor lounge of this 1930s Craftsman cottage before settling in to the hot tub. This home features both modern and vintage charm, boasting sleek wooden flooring, open-plan living, and a full chef's kitchen. A 6 ft privacy fence allows for the perfect oasis and is perfect for kids and dogs running amok.

My home is located in the heart of San Diego, just North of Balboa Park in an area called North Park. I am within walking distance to bars, craft breweries, restaurants, and shopping. The beach and downtown are just a short 10-minute drive away.

The house itself was fully remodeled in 2012, yet kept some of the characteristics of the period when it was built. The walls are rounded in the living room of this 1935 Craftsman home.

Outside the home

There is a large private yard, Caldera Hot Tub, and great outdoor space, complete with a BBQ grill and patio table that seats 6 for dining outdoors or a comfortable outdoor sofa bed perfect for lounging around in the afternoon after a full day of exploring.

Inside the home

The kitchen is full of light, central to all activity throughout the house, offering an enjoyable cooking experience. The kitchen is well-equipped with all of the tools you'll need to create a delicious meal and there are even four comfortable counter stools at the breakfast bar where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee.

The kitchen opens up to the living room, where you will see a dining set, adjustable to either table or counter height, that seats four. Pull over a couple of counter stools for a rousing card game or plop down on the newly added sofa (sleeper) and set-up a movie night with the 42" mounted Roku TV with DVD player and surround sound system! Choose a great flick from Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, or the selection of DVD's, and whatever you do, don't forget the popcorn!

Bedroom 1 is located just around the corner from the living room. It features a queen-size bed, a ceiling fan, a spacious walk-in closet, dresser, night-stand, and a door leading out to the backyard.

Bedroom 2 also has a queen-size bed, a closet for you to store your belongings, and a bookshelf with some classics for you to enjoy during your stay. Both bedrooms have plenty of natural light streaming in so you won't miss out on a second of that San Diego sunshine!

The bathroom is next to bedroom 1 and features luxurious stone flooring, granite counter tops, dual sinks, and a large walk-in shower.

To get to the spacious backyard, go through the door in bedroom 1 and you'll find the perfect place to hang out on a sunny day! You can cook up some juicy burgers on the gas grill and enjoy them at a glass-top table for 6. When you're ready for a bit of R&R, climb into the hot tub just around the corner.

Location

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood in trendy North Park with a park and playground just a few blocks away. Head in the other direction, and you will find bustling streets filled with bars, craft breweries, esteemed restaurants, and eclectic shops.

A few places worth checking out nearby include Belching Beaver Brewing, Jayne's Gastropub, Nomad Donuts, Tiger! Tiger!, and Soda & Swine.

Jump on the I-8 and you are a short drive to gorgeous beaches, a vibrant downtown, and the city's best attractions!

Beautiful and private single family house with a gameroom from a converted garage in Mission Heights. Right up the hill from Fashion Valley Mall and Highway 163, this house is in a central location perfect to all tourist, business, and convention center activities without the struggle of parking issues downtown or on the beach. 5 miles to closest beach, 7 miles to airport, and 6 miles to sea world, zoo and the convention center. Even if it you are here on our seldom rainy days you will still be enjoying yourself! The home is furnished with five large screen tvs, playing cards/games, an 8ft pool table, hot tub an 8 x 12 over ground pool and a tabletop firepit. All the comfort away from home, plenty of towels and bedding, toiletries and coffee and tea along with spices to minimize your shopping needs. This is my 3rd VRBO. There are two portable AC units in the house, one is installed in the living room and the second is in the master bedroom. This home is kid friendly and toys and a pack and play are available with advanced request.
The small kitchen is equipped with a full fridge, stove, microwave, and sink (no dishwasher), as well as utensils, pots pans, plate ware and oil salt and pepper for cooking. There is a two person dinette in the kitchen and a full dining table for enjoying a proper meal. The yard is an assortment of plants, dirt and grass and feels great on bare feet. We recently finished building our little paradise by the bay and can't wait for you to enjoy the ocean air and views. The Bay & Breeze is a new (2020) contemporary designed, detached home on our adjacent property in Bay Park. It boasts an incredible location just minutes away from the beaches, Mission Bay (walking distance), downtown, the airport, and attractions like SeaWorld & the San Diego Zoo.

The house is conveniently designed with a reverse living layout. On the first floor you'll find the 2 bedrooms (one King & one Queen) and a full bathroom with standing shower. No need to lug any baggage upstairs! Each bedroom has its own air conditioning/heating unit for individualized comfort, closet and smart television. There are also full-sized washer and dryer units on this floor at your disposal.

Head upstairs and encounter your first water views. The second floor consists of a full bathroom with shower/tub combo and a full kitchen with island seating. There is a living room area with pull out couch for additional sleeping options. If you enjoy wine, we have a dual zone wine fridge under the the 55in television for your convenience. Enjoy some of our card or board games at the breakfast banquette. Large windows allow for plenty of light on this floor. The glass doors connecting to the covered deck and outdoor eating area slide completely into the wall for an open feel while taking in the ocean breeze. A propane BBQ grill is available for use on the kitchen deck.

Finally, our rooftop deck. Come for the fun, but stay for the views! Whether you are soaking in the spacious hot tub or sitting at the firepit dining table, you can enjoy breathtaking ocean & bay views, as well as, panoramic aerials of San Diego. Head up top at night to experience the romantic uplighting while the SeaWorld fireworks light up the sky. *To respect our neighbors and our quiet neighborhood, the rooftop curfew is 10PM.*

Centrally located close to 163, 8, and 805 freeways. 10 minute drive from Fashion Valley & Mission Valley malls, 15 min from beaches, SeaWorld and the Zoo. Perfect for travel nurses.

The space
TV has DirectTV, and can also use Roku, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Bed has 2 drawers for storage, in addition to the closet. Closet has a heater, an extra blanket, iron and small ironing board. Bathroom also has a hair dryer. For everyone's safety, we ask No Smoking, drugs, or alcohol on the property.

The space
The master suite has an attached private bathroom with plenty of closet space and drawers for your things. It is a spacious room with a work station that includes a desktop computer with double monitors. Available HDMI cable if you want to attach your laptop to one of the monitors. The room has its own heat and air unit so you can keep the temperature to your liking,. There is a mini-Refrigerator with a Freezer, a Sony Bluetooth Speaker and smart TV. The suite is upstairs this is not a good idea for anyone who can not climb stairs safely. There is not a designated parking space it is street parking.

Guest access
Guests can use the kitchen, dining room and living room please read the house rules. Use of the kitchen is not part of the rental but is absolutely available to nice clean people.

During your stay
I take the guest’s lead if they want to interact or not. I love people and am happy to share tips on fun things to do, best ways to get around traffic, parking etc. I am hardly ever downstairs. I am usually in my office or outside of the home.

Other things to note
The resident cats Angus and Alice are a little shy but also food motivated. Once you give them a few treats they are happy to hang out with you if you want them to.
