This California Victorian duplex was built circa 1900 by Mr. and Mrs. Green and featured in a water tower photo of the Campbell Flood of 1910 and the house thankfully was above the waterline.

Sunday mornings you can get a cup of Joe and saunter down to the best farmers market in the area. Why didn't I knock this unit for not having a clear wheelchair path to the unit??? The unit was NOT listed as an ADA unit. And that's what we needed. So the unit itself was as described - 5 stars. So would I recommend this unit - ABSOLUTELY (as long as you're not looking for an ADA unit)."

- "Absolutely beautiful spot. This property is every bit as nice as it looks in the pictures. It is set among magnificent large trees and in a quiet estate above Los Gatos. Diane is a wonderful host who lives on the property. The view from the property is partially due to the fact that it is on the top of another building which means you have to access it by a staircase. But that staircase is well lit and easy to navigate. It leads to a delightful deck that looks out to the trees. Everything about the place is thoughtfully done and we will come back again soon. The only negative for us was that it is not easy to walk into town. The road down the hill is narrow and the cars drive fast. But we found that Uber and Lyft made it easy to overcome that problem."

This cozy space maximizes every inch, offering a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and a convertible office/bedroom on the main floor. The lofts feature a king bed with a game/TV room and a second loft above the kitchen with a queen bed. The lofts ranges from 4.5 to 5.5 feet high—perfect for sleeping & sitting.

‼️Please note: Loft access involves ladders and requires extra care. A waiver will need to be signed before check in to use the lofts.

Main Floor (~482 sqft)
• Step into a warm, cozy living area that invites you to relax after a day of exploring.
• A sleek and fully equipped kitchen is stocked with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, from pots and pans to utensils and serving dishes—ideal for gathering with family and friends over a home-cooked dinner. While cooking, you might be lucky enough to spot hummingbirds flitting just outside the kitchen window, adding a touch of natural beauty to your culinary experience.
• A flexible office/bedroom space featuring a queen-size Murphy bed provides a comfortable place to work, study, or sleep, transforming easily to suit your needs.
• The spa-inspired bathroom boasts a stylish shower, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
• We also have a “magic” table that can transform from a small end table beside the sofa into a large dining table for six! With four additional chairs cleverly hidden inside, you’ll have plenty of space to host meals or game nights with friends.

Upper Lofts:
• Big Loft (182 sqft): Features a king-size bed for restful nights and a cozy game room setup with a large 65” TV for evening entertainment.
• Second Loft (136 sqft): Offers a snug queen-size bed above the kitchen, great for a reading nook or an additional sleeping area. While the ceilings are lower, the space is thoughtfully designed for lounging or studying.
• Both lofts come equipped with individual vacuum robots for easy cleaning.

🪴Outdoor Delights:

Our spacious backyard is perfect for evening relaxation. We have a charcoal BBQ that guests can use upon request. For a $30 fee, we provide a bag of charcoal, a bag of marshmallows with sticks, a chocolate bar, and a box of graham crackers—everything you need to enjoy a wonderful night making s’mores around our cozy firepit. Occasionally, if I’m not too busy with work, I might even fire up the BBQ and share some of my famous lamb skewers. It’s a delicious treat that past guests have loved!

📣 Important Notes:

• The lofts have lower ceiling heights and are accessible via steep ladders. For this reason, the space may not be ideal for guests with young children or older adults. Most adults will need to slightly bend over to walk around the lofts, but the snug, intimate feel makes it worth the experience!

Private entrance. You have full access to the private kitchen, living room, bathroom, and office/bedroom on the main floor, with no shared areas.

After signing a waiver, you’re welcome to access the attic/loft area as well. My 8- and 11-year-old boys absolutely love the loft, and it has been our family retreat until now. We’re excited to offer it for others to enjoy.

However, if you prefer listening to loud music or have active children who like to run around, this space may not be the best fit due to the shared walls. Please use ladders with caution and avoid climbing if intoxicated or feeling unsteady.

👍🏻 Guests using the loft spaces will need to sign a waiver before checking in.
The space is brand new (built in 2024), and while the ladders and stairs are checked regularly, we appreciate feedback if there’s any concern.

The space
Entering the space, you first enter an entry way (or mud room) where you can take off your shoes or leave a coat. The entry way has 3 storage bins mounted on the wall for you to use to store shoes if you please. There is also a set of hooks to hang things like umbrellas, coats, etc.

From that entry way you will have another door to the private studio room (the "K Suite" we like to call it!), which you are provided a key for.

Other things to note
Ideally, we like to provide this room for traveling nurses and business travelers only - thus, we'd like to only provide the K Suite Sundays-Thursdays (i.e. no check-in on Fridays and Saturdays). We will allow weekend stays or stays to continue over the weekend case-by-case.
