In the historical neighborhood of North Park, our 1920s Casita is close to EVERYTHING. Just minutes to beaches, Balboa Park, Petco Park, SDSU Cox Arena, downtown and the Gaslamp District, Coronado, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, the Convention Center and Comic-Con. A wide array of unique restaurants, breweries and shops are just a few short blocks away. Perfect for an evening stroll.

We have a fully-stocked and updated kitchen, washer and dryer, window air conditioners in the bedroom and living room and a mini-split system in the kitchen (central air is not possible in our 100-year old home), free WiFi, two TVS with DirecTV, NFL network AND the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTubeTV, including a TV on our outdoor patio.

Enjoy a glass of wine under the stars while you BBQ on our propane grill and watch your favorite show. An electric fireplace in the living room adds that special ambience on cold, winter nights. (As in mid-50s, usually. It is San Diego, after all.)

We welcome housebroken and friendly dogs. And little kids, too. Although we have a limit of two each. There is no separate bed for the kids, but the couch is large and offers plenty of space for two mid-to-small sized kids. *Linens provided for couch sleepers.*

Avid environmentalists, we hope you will join us in doing our part to save this world for the next generations. We recycle and watch our water and electricity consumption. It would be much appreciated, but not required, if you would help us out with these efforts.

Sorry, but we don't allow parties or loud noises and music after 9 p.m. This is our home and these are our neighbors and we want to be respectful of them. We really hope you enjoy staying in our home and that you love it as much as we do. It is a pleasure and a privilege to share our home with you.

Host claimed this was unknown and said to send an AC technician (even though this was just one of the issues). She never sent the technician and was unresponsive for hours. Homeless people were ruffling around the trash cans outside which made it feel very unsafe.It was late and hard to find a different place during Comic Con so we had to spend the night, but as soon as we found a place in the morning we moved out and claimed a refund from VRBO, which the host is still refusing. She wanted us to contact VRBO to resolve this but later in the app conversation claimed that we shouldn’t have done so, accused us of lying, accused us of wanting a “free stay” etc. She even lied about the air freshener being unplugged even though she herself messaged that she unplugged it herself!She’s gonna reply to this with more lies and nonsense about the air freshener being empty etc. Don’t fall for this, save your money and spare yourself from this craphole. Posting images of the mold, enjoy."

The house itself is charming, clean, and comfortable. Jackie did an amazing job at communicating and checking in on the message app to see if there was anything we needed. The apartment had extra pillows, blankets, fans, washer and dryer in unit, shampoo, conditioner, a futon couch, as well as two bedrooms, 2 parking spaces, and it was very clean. It was no more than a 20 minute drive to everything (the beach, Sesame Place, Petco Stadium). We will definitely consider staying here again and I’m so happy we were able to find this property for the price during a holiday weekend!!"
