THE SPACE
This fully furnished luxury apartment has a in unit washer and dryer, central AC and heating, filtered water dispenser inside refrigerator, has a fully equipped kitchen (all pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc are included) desk for business travellers, queen bed and is great for short or long stays.
Very safe and central location with a secured entry into the building (You cannot enter the building without a key fob or code) with easy access to all of Denver. Restaurants, parks, shopping and grocery stores are within walking distance as well as local public transportation plus bike paths. Amazing location to all of Denver and Aurora hospitals.
The apartment is on the 3rd story with no stairs involved.
The apartment has 2 closets, additional paid storage options are available.

A reserved Garage Parking space and there is free street parking around the area, but it is limited.
We are pet friendly; pets are $100 per month per pet.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The complex requires us to do a background check on all residents and sign a lease prior to your move in date. After we accept your reservation, we will send these to your email and must be done within 48 hours of accepting the reservation or we will have to cancel your reservation with a full refund back to you.

The Space:
As you walk through the door, you are instantly welcomed by the open entry-level, beautiful artwork, and gorgeous staircase flowing up to the main level of our home.

The entry-level has a bedroom with a queen bed and TV, a full bathroom, laundry area, and access to the backyard. It leads down to the lower level of the home, where you’ll find a second bedroom with a king bed, queen sleeper sofa, walk-in closet, TV, and full en suite bathroom. There's also space to get your work done with a desk and chair.

One floor up from the entry-level is the open dining area and bar, which are complemented by the large windows in the living area, a SmartTV located above the electric fireplace, and couch seating as well as some outdoor balcony space! Just a couple of steps up, and you’ll find more than a fully equipped kitchen with additional bar-style seating. The kitchen is a dream, boasting stainless steel appliances, plenty of cabinet space, and modern finishes which will all bring a smile to the chef in your group.

From here, heading up one flight of stairs, you’ll find the primary bedroom with a king bed and a large walk-in closet. This space is highlighted by access to a roomy, full ensuite bathroom boasting a sizable walk-in shower with dual shower heads, and two vanities/sinks to help maintain your private space. The true gem of the property is the jetted soaking tub and rooftop deck, which are both located up another short flight of stairs. The rooftop deck is our main hangout and a great space to enjoy outdoor dining under the orange and blue Colorado sunset.

The other staircase leading up from the main level has the fourth bedroom, with a twin daybed with a pullout base that converts into a double bed, more desk space with a monitor, and yet another ensuite bathroom.

They remodeled with full appliances including washer and dryer. 3 day pass on public transit bus stop 2 min walk. 8 min ride to downtown & A-train to/from airport to downtown saved a lot not using Uber."

This apartment is alone atop the third floor and has great natural light from all four sides. Plus you have a great balcony off the kitchen for coffees, reading or dining al fresco.

THE SPACE

Welcome to my home with an artsy, retreat like atmosphere in one of the best locations of Denver, two blocks from the largest park in Denver, a 7 minute drive to the center of downtown Denver, and a 5 minute walk to wonderful coffee shops and restaurants.

I've put so much love and healing energy into this space so that it is a place of nourishment, relaxation, love and beauty.

If you have a spiritual or meditation practice or perhaps want to write, work or rest, look no further.

If you just want to visit Denver to see the sites, visit family, or work from home or downtown Denver, my place is perfect.

Both bedrooms have a queen bed. One room has a desk for remote working, and the other room has an altar for meditation. Both rooms have enough floor space for your mediation or yoga practice.

It is street parking with no permit required. I always find a place to park within 1 - 2 houses from our door.

This home is a duplex, so you share one wall with the neighbors, but there are windows on three sides of my home for tons of beautiful light all day. You have your own small, private back yard that is separated by a fence with the neighboring duplex. You also share the private backyard with a basement studio renter, unless you choose to rent the basement studio as well. There is no backyard furniture though, as it was worn out this winter and I haven't replaced it yet.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe but also lively with young professionals and families out walking all the time. The duplex neighbors are generally quiet too. Sometimes I hear their music a little through the walls, or their music or talking in their backyard. They do smoke cannabis and that can sometimes be smelled in your backyard.

Please note that you will need to be respectful of sharing this building with my basement renter, and be respectful of your noise for them and our neighbors.

This is my actual home, but I will have the clothes closets in the bedrooms totally cleaned out for you, as well as a shelf for you in the kitchen, and a drawer for you in the bathroom. But please do not expect a hotel or sterile rental only for commercial purposes. This is a warm, artistic, and homey space that offers you a feeling of beauty and intimacy more than a hotel-like atmosphere. I love guests that treat me like they are my family staying in my home, and I love to treat guests like my family visiting my home. I do not like when guests treat me like hotel staff, cold and transactional.

IS THIS PLACE FOR YOU?

I am also a vacation rental guest regularly, and its never fun to arrive to your new home and realize all the negative things were left out of the listing.

Here are all the things that are potential downsides, so you have no surprises!

* There is a little dog that lives here and doesn't shed much. If you are allergic to dogs, this is not the place for you.

* I have no T.V.s in the house, so if you like watching media on a large screen, this is not the place for you.

* I have spiritual art from religions around the world. If you are triggered by spiritual objects or images, this is not a good fit for you.

* I do not have children and so the house is not child proofed for young children. There is not a possibility of putting up a child gate for stairs.

* This is a 1908 house, and while most things have been updated and replaced, including electrical, please manage expectations with an old house. There are not as many electrical outlets, but I've supplied extra power cords. There could be a repair issue. I will address it immediately if you let me know about it. The beauty of this old house, with higher than normal ceilings, and romantic charm should outweigh the potential inconvenience for guests that are a good fit for my home.

* There are no curtains on the windows in the house. If you like a lot of privacy, over a light-filled space, this is not the home for you.

* Both queen beds in both bedrooms do not have bed frames. One is a queen mattress on the floor (room with air conditioner unit in summer), and one is a queen mattress and boxspring on the floor. As shown in pictures.

* There is one powerful air conditioner unit in the bedroom (the one with the altar and the mattress on the floor) during the summer months. The rest of my home does not have air conditioning, but I provide multiple room fans, and every bedroom, plus the living room and upstairs hallway, has a ceiling fan.

* During the winter, the heat is great. However, in Colorado we have mice that come in during the cold. I have done significant things to reduce all their points of entry, but on occasion you might see a mouse. Please don't book my home if seeing a mouse would ruin your stay in my home. I want you to have the best experience!

* There is an enclosed back porch off the back kitchen and upstairs off the bedroom with a white bedspread. A structural engineer could not guarantee the safety of the enclosed porch on upper floor. Please do not go on enclosed porch. You can access backyard through the side gate on the north-side of the house.

* The backyard furniture was worn out with our winter, so there is no backyard furniture right now.

GUEST ACCESS

The main house of this listing is 100% private for you only. Except guests do not have access to a 3rd bedroom and the enclosed porch I mentioned above (none of this is shown in the photos). The backyard is shared with the basement studio renter.

* Do not have pets here. (But there is a super tiny dog (3 pounds!) that lives here, so this place isn't for you if you have any dog allergies.)

* Please do not go on the back enclosed porch. You'll access the backyard through the outside side gate.

* Please clean up any water or liquid spills that could damage my hardwood floors.

* Let me know of anything that needs repair or breaks.

* No loud music or violent music. The energy here has been carefully cultivated with healing and uplifting sounds, so that you can have a truly beautiful energy during your stay here.

* Please do not leave food or dirty dishes on the kitchen counter or around the house; and remove your trash on a regular basis. Because the house is old and romantic, you can attract mice.

* Please communicate with me in a warm and respectful way, as I will do with you. :) Anything I can do to make your stay 5 stars, I will and I love guests that want to give me a wonderful experience of sharing my home too.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
The good things are endless, including location, laundry on site, your own kitchen. Walk to City Park. Walk to Cheeseman Park. Head downtown.
This is a brick house from the 1907 time period, and our family resides on the property. You will have your own entrance and own apartment!
A variety of folks have stayed here already, grandparents visiting & tourists checking out Denver. We are one block from a hospital-traveling nurses are welcome to make this their home. Stay for a week, stay for a month. (Two nights is fine as well!)

The "bad", perhaps that you may hear noise from above. A full family with footsteps and sibling rivalry will be living upstairs. They jump around from time to time, both in fun and disagreement . Meaning, if you are trying to write a book, this may not offer serenity to gather witty ideas. Spun in a positive way, you will be serenaded with the loud joys of life.

The "ugly", perhaps will include part of the backyard. You may see extra dirt & grass that refuses to live. There will be tricycles, lacrosse sticks, baseballs and nerf items strewn about. There is a wonderful treehouse, that is handsome and homemade and the front yard has green grass BUT, the whole backyard is not completed yet.

This is one of four apartments in a beautiful converted mansion 4-plex that’s common in Denver’s older neighborhoods. It has a great mix of old school charm with the hardwood floors, red brick building and broad windows and a modern style with the renovated kitchen and bath and hip furniture.

This apartment is on the second floor on the back, east-facing half of the building. It has one bedroom and another sunroom off the living room which is used as an office or reading room.

HEATING & COOLING: Host controls central heat from a single thermostat for the building. Guests control window AC units and ceiling and tower fans.

There is a small desk in the room for your use as well. The bathroom has big soft towels and a shower and bathtub. The room itself is on the third story of the home.

The space
The place has 3 bedrooms. as well as a shared half-bath on the 2nd story. I have a great kitchen that is chef-friendly, work spaces/desks, and a comfy living room for the loungers.

Guest access
My kitchen is fully-stocked with non-stick pots & pans, baking sheets, sharp German knives, french press w/ coffee beans and grinder. Please feel free to cook meals. Help yourself to eggs, milk, butter, spices, etc. You are free to store stuff in the fridge as well.

My living room is amazing for watching sports and movies, so please feel free to utilize the big-ass 72" TV and the reclining leather couch, but be careful...it may prevent you from getting out and exploring ole Denva-town.

There is also a nice patio on the 2nd story that you are welcome to use for eating, drinking, smoking, etc.

During your stay
I live in the house, so if I'm not travelling for work, there is a good chance we'll interact in some fashion. I also have a roommate on the first floor that you might see as well. I invite you to hang out in the common areas of the house as you wish; my home is your home. Your privacy is important to me as well, so if you prefer to hang out in your room, I respect that.

Other things to note
Free street parking right outside home with plenty of open spaces all day long. Pay attention to street sweeping on 2nd Tues/Wed of each month.

The room is on the third floor to the right of the washer and dryer closet.

Centrally located, close to restaurants and cafes on 17th Ave, walking distance from City Park and Cheeseman Park, and a scooter ride away from RiNo or Downtown. It is a full one-bedroom house which you have to yourself without shared spaces, unless you count the front porch where you might get hellos from neighbors passing by on walks.

The space
The house is my own home decorated and furnished with my belongings. It wasn’t purchased to be a rental, but I’ve found myself traveling so much, that I decided to rent it out. It is a 3br home, but I lock my personal items in my bedroom and office, so it is rented to you as a full one-bedroom house. You will find it is decorated, furnished, and stocked more like a private home than a typical AirBnB set up specifically as a rental property. There are many plants inside, and everything you need in the kitchen. I hope you enjoy my space and please care for it as your own.

Being Pet Friendly, we prefer to host pets that are no larger than 25 to 30 pounds, are non-shedding breeds and ideally, tenants canines are male. We created a lovely cedar fenced backyard with gates, flagstone patio, red-wood picnic table and BBQ grill for tenants use in warm weather. It seems that female dogs' frequent urinations damage our landscaping and as such, we request that tenants please take their fur-babies to Denver's City Park (one block east of the Studio Apt) and/or take their pets on leisure walks throughout the neighborhood to do their business.
If poo bags are needed, please let us know, we keep plenty of bags and treats on hand!

We LOVE our neighborhood. We live in an 1892 Victorian duplex in a historic neighborhood in Capitol Hill. We remodeled 20 years ago, so there's some old and some new. Our location is ideal if your activities are based in central Denver-you won't need a car if that's the case.

The space
The bedroom in our remodeled basement has a full bed, dresser and desk. In addition is an adjoining den space with a couch and arm chair. The entire basement space is mostly for you. (We do come through the den space to access our washer and dryer, and sometimes to fetch gear in another basement storage room.)
Given that it is in the basement you may hear footsteps and water passing through the pipes.
You have use of main bathroom on the second floor. We have our own bathroom also on the second floor. There is a also a half bath on the first floor you can use at night. (Please be advised there is no bathroom on the basement level.)
Our home is in Capitol Hill, walking distance to downtown and all its attractions, while the other direction is City Park with museums and the zoo and Denver Botanic Gardens. We are a half block to a major bus lines, a block and a half to another bus line.
Also within one block are coffee shops, a five-star restaurant, many other ethnic restaurants, yoga studio, pubs, shopping, etc.
We love having people around, and are happy to advise you on how to get where you want to go.

We have wifi.
Swamp cooler does better than air-conditioning.
We can work with you to have access to kitchen. Bonus is a beautiful yard, patio and garden-great place to sip coffee or tea on these summer mornings.
Please note that we have a dog and a cat. Chloe, our dog is young and energetic. She may bark when you first arrive, but settles down once she knows you are a welcome guest. . Our cat Jonah spends most of his time outdoors but does come in for meals and love.

Added note for summer of 2024-there is a major construction project going on across the alley. There could be loud noise from that during the day.

Your bedroom has a queen bed and space for a yoga or meditation practice. The closet is 100% empty for you.

You'll be sharing this home with me, and my 34 year old roommate. There are 1.5 bathrooms in the home, which means all three of us share one shower/bath tub. My roommate and I love community-style living, and neither of us have strict schedules for showering so we're flexible if you have a strict shower schedule. There is a second half bathroom on the main floor with an additional toilet and sink.

Very rare, great parking, in downtown Denver! There is free street parking with no permit required. I always find a place to park within 1 - 2 houses from our door.

There is a washer and dryer in our home, and a great kitchen for cooking. Daniel loves to cook! And we love having a weekly dinner party, if you like that too.

This home is a duplex, so our house shares one wall with the neighbors, but there are windows on three sides for tons of beautiful light all day. We have our own private back yard that is separated by a fence with the neighboring duplex.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and also lively with young professionals and families out walking all the time.

Please do not expect a hotel or sterile airbnb only for commercial purposes. This is a warm, artistic, and homey space that offers you a feeling of home more than a hotel-like atmosphere.

Please make sure you look at my house policies to make sure this is the kind of environment you'll love. My requests are for me, but they are also to create a space for all Airbnb guests that value a relaxed, loving and sacred environment to call home.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:

I am also an Airbnb guest regularly, and its never fun to arrive to your new home and realize all the negative things were left out of the listing. Here are all the things that are potential downsides, so you have no surprises!

* There are two dogs that live here, one tiny one (5 pounds) and one medium. This is really a space for someone who loves dogs. If you are allergic to dogs, this is not the place for you.

* I have no T.V.s in the house, so if you like watching media on a large screen, this is not the place for you.

* I have spiritual art from religions around the world. If you do not like spiritual objects or images from around the world, this may not a good fit for you.

* I do not have children and so the house is not suited for young children.

* This is a 1908 house, and while almost everything has been updated and replaced, a repair could be needed during your stay. The beauty of this old house, with higher than normal ceilings, and romantic charm should outweigh the potential inconvenience.

You have a private bedroom, a shared bathroom with me and my roommate, and access to all the common spaces including the kitchen and our back yard.

During your stay
I am a social-introvert. I love and value my alone time, and will spend a lot of time working and resting in my room. But I am super easy to connect with socially as well. I am energetically attuned, and will not talk incessantly, but am a wonderful conversationalist when appropriate for both of us.

And of course, I am here for any questions or concerns you have during your stay.

The space
My townhome lies in the number 4 slot of a row of five modern townhomes. The entrance is clearly marked with "2156", so it should be easy to find the right one. The place has 3 bedrooms, each having their own private bathroom, as well as a shared half-bath on the 2nd story. I have a great kitchen that is chef-friendly, work spaces/desks, and a comfy living room for the loungers.

My kitchen is fully-stocked with non-stick pots & pans, baking sheets, sharp German knives, french press w/ coffee beans and grinder. Please feel free to cook meals. Help yourself to eggs, milk, butter, spices, etc. You are free to store stuff in the fridge as well.

My living room is amazing for watching sports and movies, so please feel free to utilize the big-ass 72" TV and the reclining leather couch, but be careful...it may prevent you from getting out and exploring ole Denva-town.

During your stay
There are two other people living in the home, Malea and Cesar. Both of these roommates are very friendly and will make you feel at home. I invite you to hang out in the common areas of the house as you wish; my home is your home. Your privacy is important to me as well, so if you prefer to hang out in your room, I respect that.

Other things to note
Free street parking right outside home with plenty of open spaces all day long. Pay attention to street sweeping on 2nd Tues/Wed of each month.

Adorable Private Studio BEST LOCAL / Bath+Kitchen

This basement studio is in the heart of Denver's old historic neighborhood, seven minutes drive from Downtown, two blocks to Denver's biggest park, and walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. I've had fourteen 5-star reviews out of seventeen reviews, and all the others were a 4-star rating. My place is close to 100% booked. Easy free street parking!

The space
I have a studio apartment for rent in the basement of a historic house in the beautiful neighborhood of City Park West.

The street and neighborhood are quiet, with mature trees, old charming homes, and a lot of young professionals.

The Studio for rent has:

* A separate entrance and totally private space to yourself. You may find cheaper options for a shared room in Denver and/or not a great location. This space is totally private, you have your own bathroom and kitchenette, PLUS it is one of the best neighborhoods in Denver which makes it very desirable for this price. I have close to 100% of days booked.

* Non-permit and free parking on the street. Typically, I immediately find a parking spot either directly in front of our house or within 1-2 houses away. Be careful, as some neighborhoods close by with high walking distance score have really hard street parking. Our neighborhood doesn’t!

* A private bathroom, with a shower but the shower is smaller than usual.

* A private kitchenette with your own sink, fridge, microwave and two-top induction stove burner, and everything you need to cook. (But I cannot have a stove with oven legally.)

* A small desk that is a dedicated workspace with a chair that is height adjustable.

* Brand new "wood" floors in the entire studio.

* Brand-new, fresh construction and bright white paint. The space feels very clean and modern.

* Multiple people have commented that the queen bed is super comfortable.

* Three windows in the basement. One small-medium size, and two very small.

* There are curtains on the main window now, and your window (by the bed) faces the backyard, so it is quite private except for me or another guest upstairs sharing the backyard. But you even have a small fence between your window and the backyard, so it’s still really private.

* A shared backyard with the main house, that is either me living there or another Airbnb guest in the main house.

Downsides of Studio:

* Very small closet that is shared with the furnace and water heater. I've provided an extra clothing rack for clothes, shoes and coats.

* The room is the size of a medium-sized bedroom. You have about 4-5 feet of walking space on the bottom of a Queen bed, and 4-5 feet of walking space to the left side of the Queen bed.

* No TV.

* No stove with oven.

* House was built in 1908, so sometimes there is a repair that you discover during your stay. I will act quickly to make this repair for you if you let me know about it. But everything has been updated recently, so it shouldn't be often.

* Because this is an old house you could see a mouse or mouse poop in the basement studio. I implement many preventative measures to alleviate mice, but in the winter especially, it can be hard to eliminate them entirely. My personal values are not to kill other species in general, or with toxic chemicals that poison our water system. If you are very sensitive to seeing a mouse, this is not the property for you. And in Colorado, you should look for an apartment building, because all houses have mice in the winter due to cold climate.

Pets:
I have a tiny 3 pound dog. She doesn't shed much and is literally a tiny footprint in our backyard.

HOUSE POLICIES:

I do vet guests on my listing with "no alcohol" period, but since you said yes to this, I assume you are a moderate drinker and I'm fine with that. If you smoke please walk off the duplex property to do so.

* This is a 1908 house, and while most things have been updated and replaced, please manage expectations with an old house. There could be a repair issue, because that's just the case with an old house. I will address it immediately if you let me know about it. The beauty of this old house and the central location in the historic neighborhood should outweigh the potential inconvenience for guests.

* Because this is an old house it is especially important that you don’t attract mice by leaving food or dirty dishes on the counter or around your studio, and that remove your trash on a regular basis. Please do your part to help prevent mice during your stay, and for the guests following your stay. Thank you so much!

Make our charming one bedroom suite your home away from home in Denver. We’re located one half block from Uptown’s Restaurant Row and one mile from the center of downtown, where you’ll find amazing shopping, restaurants and culture right out the front door—no car needed. Buses travel downtown and to the Convention Center every 15 minutes.

* Our house is located in an upscale and quiet neighborhood of City Park West. Our guests love being able to walk for coffee in the morning, or dinner in the evening.

* This one-bedroom guest suite is fully furnished with everything you’ll need, comfortable furnishings, fireplace, skylight, great artwork and a queen-size bed.
Heat in our house is central, and it is set between 67 and 72 degrees. The apartment also has the electric fireplace heater, for those that like it extra warm.

The apartment is located on the second floor of our house. The main house entry is shared with two other vacation rental apartments, then up the stairs there is a private entry to this individual apartment. We have coded locks on the doors, so check-in is at 6 pm. If guest needs a different check-in time, please check with the owner and schedule, we do not live at the house.

Located in UPTOWN, halfway between City Park and Downtown. B-cycles across the street, bus on the corner, or walk everywhere. Quiet, neighborhood street.

This apartment offers accommodations for up to 1 adult guest, with 1 queen bed. The apartment has one closet, a full bath and stocked kitchen, living room and dining room. Linens, Coffee and filtered water.

This apartment has a comfortable living room with a leather sofa, decorative fireplace, and TV. Wifi, and an Ipod dock/alarm clock are provided. Enjoy our tree lined street and people watch on the front porch in our wicker loveseat.

Guest access
Guests have access to the apartment and the laundry room in the basement of the house. We meet all guests at our scheduled 6 pm check-in time. If you need another time, please schedule in advance. At check-in management will take a picture of the guests identification and have them sign a hard copy of our lease agreement.

The laundry room, in the basement of our house, has an outdoor entrance, and from this apartment there is also a separate indoor entrance.

The front porch is shared among guests, but it is most easily accessed from this apartment. The backyard has lawn furniture with a table and chairs.

Limited Parking behind the house is available for a monthly fee, when available. Parking spaces accommodate small and medium size cars only. All off street parking is on a first come first serve basis for paying guests. There is also, free public parking available of the street.

The space
Our centrally located garden-level studio apartment with private entrance sits just east of downtown Denver, on the border of City Park West & Whittier neighborhoods.

Our unit is good for solo travelers, couples or smaller groups of 2-4 looking to explore the city. We are 420-friendly and kid-friendly, just not at the same time!

RENTAL CAR:
We have a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Hybrid or 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E available to rent through Turo.

The cars are located at our house, feel free to book for a day, or your whole stay!

Please note - our backyard is a work in progress at the moment. It's not pretty right now - don't judge us!

Washer/dryer available upon request. The washer/dryer is located in our storage room in the unit, which we typically keep locked. However, if you anticipate needed use of the laundry just let us know and we will make it accessible!

Other things to note
OLD HOUSE ALERT:
This house is old. Old houses can be creaky. We are not party animals, but we do need to get from point A to point B from time to time, so you might hear us. If you are looking for complete and total silence, do not stay here.

The unit is a basement unit with a separate entrance. There are 7 stairs you need to climb to get to the unit.

TURO CAR RENTAL:
We have a hybrid Ford Fusion Energi available through Turo. The car is partially electric and gets great gas mileage. Unfortunately AirBnb won't let me share links until a guest has booked, but you can view our listing on Turo if you search 2430788.

CATS:
Owners have 3 (possibly more - cats just show up around here ...) indoor/outdoor cats.

Two of the cats will scram when they see you, but the 3rd one loves the apartment. If you leave the door open, he might just take that as an invitation to stop by and say "Meow" to our guests.

If you have severe cat allergies or despise cats - this might not be the place for you.

CAT LOVE NOT GUARANTEED! We have had a few cat lovers come through who were disappointed that our cats didn't stop by. They tend to be more visible in the summer, but don't be mad if they don't come by. They have minds of their own, and are often out and about on official cat business.

Also, as much as we enjoy dogs, we are unable to accommodate guests with dogs at this time. We do not want to run the risk of our cats getting into a scuffle with your dog! (Of course, service animals are welcome!)
