- "The first thing we noticed was the homeless encampment directly across the street in the Motel 6 parking lot. To enter the garage structure at first you need to park elsewhere so you can enter the pedestrian door, go up to the unit then retrieve the garage remote control. I would recommend the property mgr install a keypad by the garage door that will open it. Once in the enclosed parking garage it is a TIGHT FIT to manuver into your parking spot. When we got to the apt there was a lingering smell of marijuana. I think it was coming from the neighboring unit. The unit was mostly clean. The sofa in the livingroom had stains and a cigarette burn. The bed mattresses need to be rotated. Both beds were sunk in on one side. The kitchen was very minimal. No coffee, no foil paper, no dish towel (there was a towel from the restroom that was hanging on the stove), no cleaning supplies to spray on the counter to wipe down surfaces. The apartment is in an ideal spot in being close to downtown area, but unfortunetly the homeless population is all around the area. With the few items I mentioned remedied the unit would be a good place to stay. Of no fault to the property management there is not much to be done with the homeless population. We enjoyed our stay and were able to see quite a few touristy attractions without having to drive to far."

☆ Rooftop Access: The rooftop is accessed via an attic staircase from the master bathroom. While it`s a great feature, those with mobility concerns may find the access challenging.
☆ Pet-Friendly Accommodations: We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $100 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. - "Was a great stay. Loved the patio." - "Great place! Perfect size for my myself, my husband, and our 9yo. Had everything we needed to make breakfast every morning, was quiet, and in a good a location. A bit more homeless people than I have encountered rather close, but thankfully harmless as I was out running every morning around 6 am to Balboa Park which was less than a mile away. Parking was a bit tough for us, but we are not from a city, and all the exemptions and orders on different hours and days was a bit confusing. But we did leave for the bulk of the day and only had to worry about it at nights. We did make it the whole trip without a ticket! We really enjoyed the place, though, and would recommend to others!"

Easy access" - "I found this studio to be a very quiet, comfortable place to stay. the kitchen is beautiful, as is the apartment. The main room, large closet, and bath areas were ample for me to spread out and unpack. I appreciated the private gate and walkway. I found the neighborhood to be quiet at night, as well. I did not cook as I thought I would, but still used the kitchen for light meals. The host was easy to contact and promptly responded to my questions. I was able to check myself in and out easily with information and keys provided. I appreciated the two coffee/breakfast shops about a block away. This location is very central to downtown San Diego areas like Little Italy, waterfront, and Balboa Park. Because of the restrictive parking meters, I parked about a block and a half away in a pay lot. I was able to come and go from the lot and I always found a space when I returned."

Downtown! This is a beautiful 2 Level Loft with a Private Rooftop deck!! Comfortably appointed and very easily accommodates 4 guests. Queen bedroom upstairs and queen bed downstairs, none of the bedrooms are closed by doors, open space and your private rooftop balcony!

The Space:
Plush newly refreshed loft in downtown San Diego located a few blocks away from Little Italy and a short walk to the Gaslamp District and Balboa park! This is a beautiful 2 level loft with a private rooftop patio. The upstairs loft contains a spacious queen bed with direct access to the patio. Please keep in mind that this is a loft style space and does not contain a door for complete privacy. Downstairs, you’ll find a spacious living room with a comfy couch and a TV to accommodate your entire party. As you continue through the apartment, you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen which leads you to the second bedroom. This space contains a queen bed with bright windows for extra light!
This space does come with a parking spot!
NOTE: This garage is NOT suitable for large vehicles, such as large pickup trucks or extra-large minivans.

- "We went to San Diego for a work conference and thought it would be fun to stay in a VRBO rather than the conference hotel. We ended up regretting this decision! The rental reeked of marijuana (which did improve with opening the windows and turning on the air but never completely went away). The main downstairs air conditioner and the bathroom fan were not working. The owners were not aware, but once made aware they did have them fixed within 24 hours. But this required maintenance to be in the unit while we were out for the day. The kitchen supplies were bare bones - two glasses total, one kitchen towel. And the bathroom is desperately in need of a remodel - the floor is cement with peeling/cracking paint, the vanity appears to be very old, and the baseboards are cracked and dirty. I didn't want to walk barefoot in the bathroom. In addition, they REQUIRE a picture of your driver's license and your credit card be sent via text to a private number prior to sharing the check in information. They say it can be uploaded to the app, but this function is not available by mobile or online. This was after the total amount of the unit had already been charged to my credit card. I have used VRBO for years and have never had to do this. It made me extremely uncomfortable and would have cancelled the booking if we had had the time and would be able to get our money back. Needless to say, for the price they are charging - find another place to rent. "

This is Downtown San Diego, so this unit is in an urban area. This area is safe and completely harmless, The San Diego City Council voted 5-4 on June 13, 2023, to adopt a controversial policy to ban homeless encampments on public property after hearing hours of public testimony. If at any point you feel uncomfortable with any homeless people outside the area, please feel free to call us 24/7 we will provide further detailed assistance. The 24-hour public security service office is located 1 block away, they are on shifts every day to remove the shady characters.

With only three other apartments in the building downstairs , this second story apartment is as isolated as you can be when in this part of downtown. A short flight of stairs brings you up into a very spacious home with private patio and Weber BBQ grill .

Unfortunately, there is NO DESIGNATED PARKING FOR THIS UNIT. so here's some information regarding parking options in the area:
1.Street Parking: There are on-street parking spaces available throughout the neighborhood. Street Parking are free from6 pm-8 am ,Sundays and public holidays.
2.Metered Parking: Along 6th Avenue and surrounding streets, you will find metered parking spaces. These spaces usually have time limits ranging from one to four hours and require payment through coin, credit card, or a mobile parking app.
3.Parking Garages: If you prefer a more secure parking option, there are several parking garages nearby. Some notable options include:
Diamond Parking: located right next to our building, Guests can pay for daily parking through display Lightning Pay app. scan the QR code at the front entrance to the lot and follow the directions on the app to pay and secure their spot. for a daily parking price range from $10-$18, please let us know if you would like to apply for a monthly parking we can assist you.
ACE Parking: Located at 6th ave Ash street this garage offers hourly and daily rates @$15
6th & A: Situated right across our building, it provides both hourly and daily parking options.
This is Downtown San Diego, so this unit is in an urban area. This area is safe and completely harmless, The San Diego City Council voted 5-4 on June 13 2023 to adopt a controversial policy to ban homeless encampments on public property after hearing hours of public testimony. If at any point you feel uncomfortable with any homeless people outside the area, please feel free to call us 24/7 we will provide further detailed assistance .The 24 hour public security service office is located 1 block away ,they are on shifts everyday to remove the shady characters.
