I contacted the property seven times with no response. When we got to the AirBNB the blowup mattress turned me into a taco two hours later. The so-called futon couch was the size for a child that didn’t even flatten out. the windows have half inch cracks in it so we froze which got us sick from the air coming straight into our face. The traffic is so loud all day all night. You don’t get a decent sleep. The mattress in the bedroom was so lived in. We had to put it on the floor, so our backs wouldn’t hurt. There was absolutely no blankets whatsoever which we had to go out and purchase some. All they had was sheets. There was not sufficient drawers. My son-in-law had to put his clothes in the kitchen cabinet or kitchen drawer. We ended up paying out-of-pocket four days at a different hotel just to get some sleep and have appropriate accommodations. The tub doesn’t drain so you’re taking a shower with water up to your ankles."

The host supplied a booklet of various recommendations in the area as well as detailed yet straightforward check-out instructions. Just 5 blocks from the new Roosevelt Light Rail station, you'll be able get to and from the airport in under an hour regardless of traffic! Downtown is just a 10 minute ride. Some guests have found it cheaper to rent a car from the Avis/Budget car rental one block away rather than shuttling around a busy airport.

If you wish, I will grind organic coffee fresh the day you arrive. Caffeinated or decaf, just let me know. Otherwise, Urban Luxe Cafe is right around the corner and Herkimer Coffee, just up the street. And wonderful nearby restaurants too numerous to mention; I'll send you a detailed list on request.

For guest comfort, portable AC unit is provided during warm months of mid May-mid September. Please note, that even on the warmest day in Seattle opening a window and turning on floor fan will cool off the unit quickly. We live in a very mild climate, luckily, where AC is not common!

The 100 years old historic structure with original wood floors and restored systems. The ceilings are insulated to minimize any noise to our guests, but occasional noise travel through, so for light sleepers’ earplugs and white noise machine are available in the loft.

The Loft Unit is brand new! The upper level of the unit consists of a bedroom with queen bed, a kitchen, hard wood floors, and a bathroom. Queen Anne Hill is an affluent neighborhood situated a long walk or short monorail trip from downtown. It's also an easy walk from the Space Needle. Nearby are Kerry Park, the Key Arena, the Seattle Science Center, and the Museum of Pop Culture.

If arriving from the airport please take Uber, Lyft, Taxi.
Also you can take light rail from the Airport to Downtown, from downtown Uber or Lift or bus #2, #13 from 3rd Ave and Pike street will take you very close to our location.
Link light rail travels between UW Station and Angle Lake Station, making 14 stops along the way, including downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. Link trains run every 6, 10 or 15 minutes depending on the time of day. Service is available from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Many guests will arrive before the designated check-in time. The good news is that there is plenty to do. We often suggest that guests visit the Kerry park, walk on Queen Anne avenue and do some small shopping, or visit Seattle Centre. All locations are within walking distance form our home. There are also a few good restaurants for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!

The Space:
You will feel immediately relaxed when you enter this 724 sq ft apartment on the 8th floor of a classic 1957-built Seattle building. It is beautifully decorated with soothing tones and relaxing designs throughout. A mix of different stylish lighting fixtures is to set the perfect moods and ambiance. Two bedrooms with a king and a queen size memory foam mattresses promise many restful nights. A queen-sized air mattress is available for friends and families. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end stainless-steel appliances and all that you might need to whip up a meal. This is one of the few units in the building that has its own washer and dryer.

Shared recreation room and roof top deck with breathtaking views of Lake Union, downtown Seattle, and Capitol Hill. With walk score of 98, the apartment is centrally located where Capitol Hill meets Downtown Seattle. It offers unlimited amount of fun: from Pacific Place & Westlake shopping centers, theaters, the Monorail and Pike Place Market to the LGBTQ friendly bars, brunch spots, and boutiques galore.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire condo unit and amenities of the secured-entry building including:
1- Pool Table and TV Lounge are on the first floor next to the lobby. Access can arranged with the concierge.
2- Rooftop deck offering great views of Seattle and a seating area. You will need your Key Fob to access the rooftop. Hours are 7am-10pm.
3- Trash and recycle on the 4th floor (outside through Exit door). Key Fob is needed.

The Neighborhood:
We are centrally located just steps from the Convention Center, Pacific Place, and Westlake Center. The condo is also within walking distance to the heart of Downtown, Pike Place Market, the Seattle waterfront as well as Capitol Hill. Light rail is also nearby to whisk you to and from the airport and other areas in and around Seattle.

Other Things to Note:
1- The condo is conveniently located in an urban environment and guests may hear noise and traffic from the streets below as would be the case in most large cities. From our experience, disruption is minimal, particularly when the windows are closed, but every guest may be different.
2- 1 spot parking is included. There are limited street parking in front of the building or overnight parking in WA state Convention parking garages.
3- Each unit is equipped with an individual heating control knob; however, the maximum temperature is regulated by the building's HOA. We provide a portable heater for your comfort.
4-The Elektra is a 16-story high-rise built in 1949 and remodeled in 1997. While not brand-new or modern, it offers vintage charm and a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

This is one folding beds in the main hall of the Temple. You will be sharing space with others and the Buddha's. The beds are separated by Shoji screens for privacy. The kitchen and bathrooms are shared with the other guests and facility manager.

A LEED Platinum building & solar assisted, it's a small apartment of 204sf, set up with a double bed, bunk bed and futon. Complete with essentials like towels, hair products, and hairdryer. Wifi, microwave, fridge, hotplate. The building is about ecological urban living in the heart of Seattle.

The space
Just a clean simple, first floor(no elevator) no thrills ergonomic design 204 sqft (19sqm) studio Apartment, that is all about minimalism and sustainability. Situated in a great urban location. I do my best to conserve water, energy and to reduce waste through a composting and recycling program. Furnished with a double bed with a 12-inch green tea mattress atop it, a full-size bunk bed. A futon, futon is not the best for sleeping on.

Things you should know

-Seattle is currently experiencing periodic heat waves this summer, this apartment dose not have AC. sadly because it's solar powered, it dose not have enough spare energy to run one. I cant control the temperature in the apartment, besides closing the blinds and opening the windows at night.

-The apartment uses a Smart lock, the August Lock witch allows you to open the apartment door with your smart phone. You’ll have received instructions from August on how to set this up, please do this before arriving at the apartment. If you are unable to use the August app on your phone, please let me know before arriving and I’ll provide you an alternative means to unlock the door.

-I don't accept large alterations after bookings have been confirmed, I am a one-person operation and my schedule is not that flexible

-Note: there is only 22 inches of clearance between the bunk bed and the ceiling. I have no problems climbing up but be warned that it is best for agile people who like cozy sleeping areas or younger children.

-The building runs on a solar water heat exchanger located on the roof, with a backup natural gas boiler. When the system switches from the solar exchanger to the boiler, sometimes this leads to cold pockets, which can cause brief moments of colder water while running the hot water.

-please let me know if you plan on using the sleeper futon, so I can provide extra bedding

-there is only one sink and the kitchen is what you see in the photos. Set up with a hot plate and some basic cooking utensils. If you plan on cooking, please let me know and I’ll equip the apartment with more cooking instruments.

-Must climb stairs, the building does not have an elevator 1st-floor apartment

-most often complaints I get is “the place is smaller then it looked in photos, no elevator”

-strict quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am, it’s just not the best sound-insulated building. So I have to in-force this.

-the apartment doesn't have AC like most apartments in Seattle, besides providing a fan and closing the blinds. If AC is a necessity for you, you might want to book something else

-no pets allowed, my neighbor is allergic and I’ll have to take a large chunk of your deposits if you bring a dog. To cover a professional cleaner, cost for cleaner varies from 250-500$

-What it means to be eco, first it starts with a Leed platinum construction. Solar-assisted heating and energy production, Rainwater capture, a goal of zero plastic waste(not there yet), reusability as in for instance besides toilet paper we don't use paper towels but rather a washable cotton hand towels and low water wash eco bath towels. Everything that can be recycled or composted is, I'd appreciate your help in this by placing these disposable items under the sink in the correct spot eg compost, recycling & trash bags found there.

-The apartment building according to the Seattle City Electric code, uses AFCI breakers. They can not handle certain models of CPU, mainly found in custom-built gaming computers, cause power fluctuations, which in turn causes the breakers to trip. Also, please do not run multiple electronic devices at once, keep your amp draw to no more than 10 amps at a time( remember it's a solar-assisted building).

. The building itself does not have parking, but there is free street parking, the east side or side opposite the building is the free unzoned side... Just make sure to read the signs posted where you park(a lack of parking signage, means un-zoned... like the east side of the St/opposite the building ). Also, if you want and or don’t want to look for free st parking the most affordable paid parking garage is about three blocks away at Seattle University, the Murphy garage 1001 11th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. There is also a paid parking lot just a half block north on 10th ave(1005 E Jefferson St), but it’s a little more expensive is all.

Other things to note
It's in the heart of the city, it can get a little noisy sometimes. Plus, it is not like the apartment is soundproofed. I do my best to abate noise with quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am, but I can not control the other tenants. please let me know if someone is breaking the quiet hours and ill do my best to shut them up. :)

So please place your trash, compost, and recyclables under the sink, you'll also find a composting bag tied to the sink drain. While it is ideally set up for 2 people, if you want to fit in more than 2 guests, it will be a little cramped, just let me know, so I can at least provide everyone with a towel and extra blankets. Furnished with a double bed below with a green tea mattress atop it and a full-size bunk bed above (it's just the two beds).

You can see from pictures the wall under the window is below ground, there is a separate back door to walk out to the back yard. The room also also a large walkin closet can use for storage or another bedroom.
You share the bathroom (with large shower area) with one graduate and one young professional and kitchen on upstairs. We have cleaning people to clean the kitchen and bathroom biweekly.

2) Due to the laundry machines in the house are free for everyone here to use and the check out cleaning cost you are paying is only one hour cleaning fee -- the cleaning people usually spends 3 hours to clean the other areas like bathroom and kitchen after each check out. Therefore we think it is fair that guests of this house to wash their sheets before they check out.

3) People provide their own consumable goods for long term stay ( 30 days and more) .
4) The basic cleaning fee listed here is the minimum for up to 1 month stay, if multiple months, the minimum cleaning is that monthly cleaning multiplies # of months. If too filthy, the guest is responsible to pay for the extra cleaning or damages based on $35 per hour for cleaning.

My place is only minute walk to bus stop but still quiet. What I love the most about my place is that it is a block from my favorite AMC theater, where you will love to kick back and enjoy the show from a luxurious AMC Signature Recliner after a meal at IHOP or before grocery shopping at Super saver foods in the same plaza. There is a public laundromat across the street. In plum season you will get free plums from the plum tree in my front yard.

The space
This property is a two-storied building and 3 rooms (including yours) are upstairs sharing one bathroom. Normally each room has only one guest. We do have guests stay downstair so we would require upstairs guests to respect their rights for a quiet stay. There is a door always locked to separate downstairs and upstairs.

In addition to your own room, you can also use all the shared areas, such as bathroom, living room and full size kitchen. High speed internet up to 900 MBPS.

Greetings! Thank you for considering my place for your stay in downtown Seattle. The newly remodeled cozy 1 bedroom apartment in a secured building that is located close to everything. 5 min walk to Washington Convention Center; 8 min walk to Pike/Pine corridor and all the shopping it has to offer; couple of blocks away from Capital Hill and all the nightlife it has to offer; and 5 mins drive away from Belltown and all the best restaurants. This location has a walk score of 97 out of a possible 100, and a transit score of 100, making it easy to take the public transportation or get a lyft or uber ride anywhere.

The apartment can sleep 4 people comfortably. In the bedroom is a queen size Tuft & Needle foam mattress that is No. 1 top rated on Amazon. In the living room the sofa can convert to large bed enough for two more. Quality cotton linens are provided for your comfort.

There is a full kitchen available for the guest including all pots and pans and cooking utensil. However, please bring your own ingredients. Please put all used dishes in the dish washer and the cleaner will take care of them.

There is a free secured garage parking available, but please remember to wait for the gate to close when entering and leaving the garage. And please only park in assigned parking spot under all circumstances.

Guest access
Guest will have access to the unit and have complete privacy. There is a indoor gym available; however, anyone under age 18 will require adult supervision. Rooftop deck is not available to guests.
