Spacious and charming apartment, overlooking a beautiful garden, tucked away behind craftsman-style house in the heart of historic North Park. Apartment is 600 sqft and has beautiful hardwood floors. It has large windows which provide lots of natural light and allow an air-flow and breeze. The unit also has a portable air conditioner for extra comfort during the warm summer months.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed and is facing east allowing you to watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. The living room is spacious and has a smart TV (access to local channels and Netflix). The kitchen is fully equipped. In the historical neighborhood of North Park, our 1920s Casita is close to EVERYTHING. Just minutes to beaches, Balboa Park, Petco Park, SDSU Cox Arena, downtown and the Gaslamp District, Coronado, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, the Convention Center and Comic-Con. A wide array of unique restaurants, breweries and shops are just a few short blocks away. Perfect for an evening stroll.

We have a fully-stocked and updated kitchen, washer and dryer, window air conditioners in the bedroom and living room and a mini-split system in the kitchen (central air is not possible in our 100-year old home), free WiFi, two TVS with DirecTV, NFL network AND the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTubeTV, including a TV on our outdoor patio.

Enjoy a glass of wine under the stars while you BBQ on our propane grill and watch your favorite show. An electric fireplace in the living room adds that special ambience on cold, winter nights. (As in mid-50s, usually. It is San Diego, after all.)

We welcome housebroken and friendly dogs. And little kids, too. Although we have a limit of two each. There is no separate bed for the kids, but the couch is large and offers plenty of space for two mid-to-small sized kids. *Linens provided for couch sleepers.*

Pets: We do not charge a pet fee — but pets must be disclosed when booking. Undisclosed pets will incur a $100 fee. To keep our pet-friendly policy free for all guests, we ask that you:

Clean up after your pet inside and outside.
Use provided blankets on furniture if pets are allowed up.
Contact us for instructions if an accident occurs on carpets or upholstery.

Security: For your safety, there are four exterior cameras mounted on the roof to monitor property access: two at the front (entry, driveway, sidewalk), one on the south side yard (facing the gate), and one on the north side yard (non-accessible space). This is a fully functional home. For the most part, everyday household necessities are on site and available to use or borrow. Some personal belongings may be locked away.

While unlikely, additional unit on property may be occupied during visit. Unit is sectioned off and detached from main home.

Absolutely no smoking of any kind on the property.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials, wraps, foils, pots, pans, dishes, etc.

The washer and dryer are available for use as well, and laundry detergent is included.

There is typically plenty of street parking and a one-car driveway to park in.

If you are not bringing any pets:
The beds will be fitted with white sheets/pillowcases, and white duvet covers.

If you are bringing well-behaved pets:
The beds will be fitted with gray sheets and gray or green duvet covers. A homemade dog bed setup will be provided in the primary bedroom. For pets on living room furniture, couch covers are provided, please use them.

We have exterior cameras that are used for security and/or to monitor that our policies are adhered to. Cameras are located on the front and back porch.
