- "The house is super cute and in a very quiet neighborhood. Host is very responsive. Beds are a little hard and hard to get out to throw away trash. The house had an unpleasant odor when we arrived, which we found out is due to a factory in the area. The washer and dryer require 2 each for laundry which was not on the description. Towels are small, beds are hard, and upstairs is on the same thermostat which made it either too warm or too cool. She supplies a fan, which helps.The worst part is the trains that go by every 2-3 hours day and night and shake the upstairs bed and lamp. Do not stay here if you want to sleep. Woke up on 2nd day to a swarm of ants in the kitchen. She had bug spray and it helped. If I had not booked for three days, we would have left to stay somewhere else. Absolutely awful!"

Apartment is located in a 2- unit apartment brick building. The unit is located on 2nd floor. 1st floor is rented to a mature couple ( with no kids). Parking is in a detached garage. Unit is located in a quiet, very safe residential area. It is within walking distance (1 block) to Wolf Lake and 1.5 miles from Whihala Beach. Many biking and walking trails nearby as well as kayaking. Golf is available at beautiful Lost Marsh Golf Course (1.7 miles away). We are 1 block from 119th Street (main street in Whiting) where many eateries and bars can be found.
Downtown Chicago is only 25 minutes away.
We recommend the laundry facility Blue Kangaroo Coin Laundry, located at 10532 S Ave B, Chicago, Il. It is only about a 5 minute drive from the apt. It is not busy and the facility is very clean.

One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has a twin bed. The living room has a futon. Guest have access to the entire unit and is not shared. Guest will have their own entrance.
