We’re apparently among the early visitors. We were on the second floor (a walk-up) (we’re a couple in our 70s, still reasonably mobile; stairway to 2nd floor could be challenge for some). The 2nd floor can accommodate up to 7, say, for a group, or a smaller number of individuals or couples. Three 2nd floor bedrooms, small, (each with its own digital lock); but spacious common TV, dining area, and modern kitchen, and modern bathroom — all simply but tastefully appointed. The immediate neighborhood is not fancy but seemed safe. A $15 Uber/Lyft ride to downtown, slightly more from/to O’Hare. For us, making a short overnight stay en route to connecting with Chicago friends and rental car travel to a neighboring state, this was an excellent value, and an enjoyable guesthouse experience!"

We had checked with the owners in advance to learn that there were only stairs with handrails leading up to the living quarters, but none indoors, which was important to us. Centrally located between Logan Sq Bucktown, Wicker Park & Ukrainian Village. Easily jump on the 606 walk/bike path or the Blue Line train. Lincoln Park Zoo, N. Ave. Beach & other hot spots are a quick Uber ride away. The Blue Line offers access to downtown, museums, Bears games @ Soldier Field & direct access to O’Hare. Wrigley Field is just across town. The Bulls play at the United Center 2 miles away. There are great local eats/drink on our block! Note that this is a below level unit. - "Property is as described. Very clean and updated. Bed was a very comfortable king size. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. We never had troubles finding a spot for parking on the street near the house. The owners were very accomodating with us when we had delayed arrival and departure due to flight issues. I think there must be an AC unit or a furnace inside one of the closet which was a little noisy when we arrived, but owner must be aware of that and we did not hear it at night. Also basements in general can get a little chilly when AC goes in the rest of the house, something to keep in mind in general. Overall this was the best stay on this trip so far and I would definitely recommend the place."

Located right off main bustling streets in Logan Square, i.e. the famous Milwaukee Ave, you definitely won’t need a car as the property is conveniently located approximately 3 blocks from the blue line!

Street - zoned parking is typically readily available on the block as well. (1) garage spot available at $25 add’l.

The space itself includes a queen bed in each bedroom (2). Living room has (2) twin XL daybeds with plush memory foam mattresses, and additional let-down chaise seating (as an additional comfy bonus, single-sized bed). A 50 inch flat screen is in the living room with cable included! HBO/Netflix access as bonus.

All pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire beforehand! Excessive shedding found will incur an extra $25 pet cleaning fee. Logan Square is amazing. It’s super hip, chic, and artsy. You will love it! The house is minutes or walking distance from various bars/taps, restaurants, grocery stores, the famous Logan Theater, Concord Music, parks— anything imaginable.

The house is less than a three block walk to the blue line “el” (Logan Square stop), and less than a half a block from the CTA-Kimball stop. I-90/94 access is approximately 5 blocks away as well. I can provide more information for public transportation upon request.

Note: I will be staying above you with my dog, Bella, and neither of us bite! Feel free to ask me any questions or recommendations about the neighborhood if you catch me around the house. I like to explore the city as well, so you’re free to join me if you’re completely at a loss to figure out something!
