Welcome to our cozy 2 bedroom apartment on a quiet tree lined street in the heart of Lakeview. Walking distance to Wrigley, Southport Corridor and just a short el ride to downtown. There's a Whole Foods around the corner as well as Endless bars and restaurants within a short walk. Lake Michigan is only 1.5 miles away.

The space has two sitting areas in the living room and has spacious bedrooms. Enjoy time on the outdoor private balcony when the weather is nice or time inside with family and friends during the wintery weather.

The unit is in the coach house located in the back of the property. Please walk around the right side of the building along pathway and through the gate, you'll see the blue sided coach house. Take the stairwell on the left side that goes to the top floor, the key code provided is for the top deck entrance.

The host noted free street parking which is totally accurate, but because it is close to Wrigley if you aren't familiar with the area it could be hard to find a permit-free street. Almost everything easy of Broadway is permit-free and you should find a spot if there isn't a Cubs game going on. We had no trouble finding a spot here and just wanted to give a pro-tip to anyone booking this place that isn't familiar with Chicago already to save you time driving around."

2. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS: Our Airbnb is located in a residential building, and we ask that you respect our neighbors' privacy and keep noise levels to a minimum. Please refrain from hosting parties or events that could disturb other guests or neighbors.
3. NO PETS: Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets in our Airbnb due to potential allergy concerns and damage to the property.
4. LATE CHECK-OUT ($50 Fee): Our check-out time is 10:00 AM. We kindly ask that you adhere to this time to ensure that our cleaning staff has sufficient time to prepare the apartment for the next guest. Late checkout past 10:00 AM will result in a $50 fee.

There’s really no need for a taxi or Uber with so much that is walkable or accessible from the red line.

The space
So—I’m relatively new to hosting an AirBnB. I welcome and want your feedback and will do my best to accommodate requests during your stay. That said, I have stayed at plenty of AirBnb’s—and this is one that’s right up my alley in what I’d be looking for.

This location really is fantastic. Keep in mind that it is right next to the train—which is super convenient for getting around the city. But, it can get also get quite loud when it’s passing by.

Also, the fact that there’s only one bathroom can present a challenge.

The building isn’t the most updated. But, I’ve done my best to make it cozy and functional for relaxing, playing board games, working on a puzzle, cooking, making coffee and whatever else you might like to do in your down time.

During your stay
I am available as needed and am happy to socialize or give guests space. I do stay here unless I’m traveling and am happy to offer guidance on places to check out around Chicago.

Other things to note
If you happen to be visiting during the warmer months, I do informal sailboat excursions out of a harbor right downtown. If you’re interested in getting out on the water, shoot me a message and I’ll get you more information.

As most of United States Houses this is not made with concrete so you will hear people walking, talking, etc. It doesn’t bother most of the people but if you are a very light sleeper you should choose a modern apartment (three floor apartments or traditional houses all has the same problem) or have an earphone or something for block the sound. This classy old house, built in 1895, is totally remodeled & owner occupied. It sits in a residential neighborhood with tree-lined streets & is surrounded by coffee shops. Located 1 1/2 miles from Lake Michigan and Wrigley Field, and walking distance from the bus to Downtown and Millennium Park.
