The space
This casita will feel cozy and quiet. It's located off a dirt road amidst custom ranch style homes adjacent to a beautiful park. You will be in the heart of the city but will not feel like it. You can sit out front and watch the sunset or throw something on the grill in the back patio area. Numerous board games to get out and play in the dining area with family and/or friends.
Guest access
Guests can access full living quarters, front and back area. There is another entrance right next to guest entrance which is an office space utilized 9:00am-2:00pm Monday through Friday only. There should be little or no interaction to be worried about with guests.

Guests should enter off of 25th Street West. Wood gate is located at north entrance of property and has address 39812 on post. Gate is automatic and a code will be given for entrance.

Very quiet and secluded. 5 acre property. 70 miles north of Los Angeles. 45 minutes from Lancaster, CA. 25 minutes from Palmdale, CA.

The space
The Bunkhouse has a cabin-feel and is very cozy and quiet. You'll find everything you need from the fully the equipped kitchen to linens and toiletries. There is a writing desk that gives you a view of the local junipers and the desert floor beyond. The private patio is a perfect spot for an evening bbq or to just sit and star-gaze. Our night skies are incredible since they aren't diffused by city lights.

Guest access
The Bunkhouse is self contained. There is also a yurt on the property which is a beautiful space for meditation, dance or movement. Use of this is by appointment only. Let me know if you're interested.

Other things to note
This is very rural, so no street lights, traffic noise, but we have our coyotes, bob cats, rabbits and occasional snake. Because there are no near-by stores or restaurants I suggest you plan your trip ahead of time and bring food-stuffs with you.

If you've always wondered what it would be like to live in a Tiny House - now's your chance! Located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains north of Los Angeles and overlooking the Mojave Desert. Close to hiking trails and the high-desert night skies are amazing. Tiny means Tiny! (200 Sq Ft). Most appropriate for one person or a cozy couple!

The space
Built on a 24' trailer frame, it has a roomy feeling. The Queen-sized bed serves as a couch in the daytime and pulls out from under the kitchen floor for sleeping. The elevated kitchen is fully equipped with oven, range and mid-size refrigerator. Due to power restraints-no microwave. Tho one available in my garage a few feet away. There is an on-demand hot water heater and a large 4' shower stall. The composting toilet is not as scary as it sounds and you'll be given easy instructions. There's a small porch with awning for a little extra elbow room. It is located on a corner of my property away from the main house so it has a very private feeling.

Due to the Corona Virus I am requesting that guests check themselves in and take care in cleaning surfaces and doorknobs prior to departure. I'm also asking that guests watch two short instructional videos since I am unable to give an orientation in person.

Guest access
The Tiny House is self contained. There is also a yurt on the property that is available for meditation, yoga or dance - use of the space can be pre-arranged by appointment at no charge.

Other things to note
I would say some level of flexibility might be good in a guest. The Tiny House is a bit more rustic than a regular house. I have tried to insure that guests will be comfortable, but this is a small RV-type space with RV-type accessories!
