Our top-level Airbnb unit has been meticulously designed to prioritize your comfort. Our bathroom includes a bathtub, and the full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal, including plateware, flatware, cookware, a stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator.

Additionally, you'll have access to our shared backyard, complete with lush turf for your furry friends and a patio featuring a comfortable seating area and dining table for four people. It’s perfect for hosting a BBQ, sunbathing, or simply unwinding after a long day of exploring!

Guests will have access to everything shown in the photos. Street parking is free and plentiful, and the home comes with one assigned parking space in the alley behind the property.

The Neighborhood:
Our apartment is just two blocks from Barrio Logan, an artistic, industrial area with Mexican roots. At its heart is Chicano Park, with dozens of murals depicting the community’s past activism, alongside images of notable figures like Frida Kahlo. Former warehouses on Logan Avenue now house galleries, taco shops, and craft breweries and coffee shops where you can experience the city skylines, local music and even the occasional wild parrot flying overhead!

We love being 1 to 2 miles from downtown, a quick Uber to beautiful Coronado Island and its beach, and within a few miles of Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and the fun neighborhoods of North Park, South Park, Golden Hill, and Hillcrest. We'd be happy to tell you about our favorite spots!

Getting Around:
The property has one off street parking space. Ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft are a great way to get to Downtown, Coronado Island, Balboa Park, or the North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, or Golden Hill neighborhoods. Barrio Logan is an easy 5 to 10 minute walk.

GUEST
• For security purposes, guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on Airbnb, including a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).
• You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property.
• Check-in is 4PM or later. Check-in instructions will be sent via email the morning of your stay
• No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: Doing either will result in eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.

PETS
• We allow a maximum of two pets and charge a $45 fee per pet, per stay.
• Unfortunately, we do not allow cats at the property.
• No animals are allowed on the beds or any of the furniture.
• If you leave the property, your pet either joins you or stays in their crate.
• If there are any pet-related damages, you will be required to cover any repair or replacement costs.
• Please keep any barking or crying that will disturb neighbors to a minimum.
• Please do your best to clean up after your pet (hair, waste outside…) before check-out.
• We recommend bringing their own bed and food/water bowls.

DAMAGE
• We understand accidents happen. In the event of damage occurring at the property, we require that all guests report any and all damage during their stay, prior to check-out.

SMOKING
• Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property. Evidence of smoking will result in a complete forfeiture of your security deposit.

EVENTS & GATHERINGS
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS are daily from 10PM-8AM.

SECURITY
• This property may implement video surveillance in outdoor public areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests. Additionally, this property may also use Noise Aware technology to ensure the comfort and security of our guests.

VISITORS
• We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests unless previously authorized by the host.

Original home was my childhood residence and in 2016 it was completely stripped to bare bones and every nook and cranny has been updated to the most current Title 24 California Building Code Standards for safety as well as building energy efficiency providing all who stay comfort and the protection a home should always provide.

The Renovation and Addition/Alteration was a city approved project with a full city approved plan set that is registered with the city and every detail was adhered to for the redevelopment of the original home.

Plus, we're only one block from the Red Trolley, which takes you to the convention center, Tijuana Border, Old Town SD, and Downtown SD.

Other Things to Note:
Our neighborhood is mostly commercial with a few residential houses. The people you’ll see around are often local business owners and friendly neighbors. Although the area might look a bit gritty at first, it’s a vibrant urban spot, as noted in our reviews.

For parties and events, please note that GoodLifeResorts does not accept them through Airbnb. The maximum guest count on Airbnb is 16. For larger groups or events, please reach out via other platforms.

We strictly prohibit large-scale gatherings. However, we do permit small, tasteful events such bachelorette celebrations and family BBQs. Guest count is not to exceed the maximum occupancy of 12. Quiet hours must be respected and the overnight guest count should not exceed your reservation.

To help ensure a peaceful stay for everyone, we have security cameras at the front of the house to monitor guest numbers and pets; we also have a privacy-compliant noise sensor (NoiseAware) that tracks volume levels (but does not record audio).

PET FEE
$150 per Well Behaved dog per night to cover additional cleaning costs. Limit of 2 dogs. Dogs must be crated if left unattended in the home longer than 2 hours, guest must provide the crate. Any unregistered Pet guests will be fined $500. If required, market value typical cost for couch steam cleaning $450, Area rug steam cleaning $200. Please reference our Pet Policy.

It is close to the freeways and very close to public transportation located on a main street, because of this convenience you may hear the bus and trolley from time to time. If all windows and doors are closed, noise is not a problem.

Getting around:
San Diego's Metropolitan Transit System Map will be provided. The trolley stops directly in front of the Convention Center and Petco Park Stadium. As well as Gaslamp District and Little Italy. A short drive or Uber will get you to all the great places listed in San Diego.

Our newly renovated home in Logan Heights is the perfect spot to enjoy a fabulous San Diego getaway! The location is centrally located 5 minutes from downtown and right by great coffee shops and restaurants. Enjoy the naturally lit Mexicali design, private entrance, and private outdoor space!

LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a spacious floor plan, so if you're hungry or looking to relax, you can eat at the live edge dining table or unwind on the genuine leather sofa. The TV has Roku and is in Guest Mode, so you can log onto your favorite streaming accounts that will automatically log out at checkout. Plenty of seating to spread out and relax!

THE KITCHEN:
Our brand-new kitchen is charming with everything you need to cook delicious meals including a make-your-own taco recipe book. With a stainless steel fridge, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal, cooking at home has never been more convenient!

The kitchen cabinets include dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, and wine glasses. There are a large variety of pots and pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, bakeware, can opener, corkscrew, and cooking and steak knives. There is a toaster, blender, drip coffee maker, reusable filters, ground coffee, and tea. We have plenty of dishes, plates, and a drawer full of tableware to accommodate large groups.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Private outdoor space with a propane fire pit, lounge, and big outdoor dining table for you to enjoy!

PARTIES:
No parties are permitted.

PETS:
Doggos welcome! Just let us know prior.

LAUNDRY:
The unit has its own free washer and dryer for your use.

The lot has 2 units on it. The rear unit is also an Airbnb. Also, the 2nd floor has lower ceilings.

The Neighborhood:
Logan Heights is a predominantly Hispanic residential neighborhood, close to one of the most vibrant cultural neighborhoods called Barrio Logan, which houses the world's largest collection of Chicano murals in the world. Snag a beer at one of the local breweries or enjoy authentic Mexican street food.

Getting Around:
This is the perfect location to get all over San Diego! Less than $10 uber ride to most of the attractions. Close to the airport, train, and highways.

2 blocks away from the 5 freeway and 0.5 mi to the 15 freeway

Downtown (1.2 miles), Convention (2.2 m), Little Italy (3.3 m), Airport (4.8 m), and Coronado Beach (5.0 m). Quick Uber to all of these locations.

Other Things to Note:
2nd floor was an attic converted into 3 additional bedrooms and a bathroom. Room entry heights are 6'2" and max ceiling heights are 6'5".

If you are a tall person above 6' you may want to consider staying in the bottom floor room. Upstairs is more of a cozy and unique space.

- "Everything in this property is accurately listed. It’s very close (10 min or less) to the waterfront, SD zoo and Petco park. The house was clean on arrival. We had plenty of towels for showers. Cooking was easy. All of the appliances were new and they leave coffee to be used in the coffee maker which was a very nice touch and unexpected!!! Manny not only responded immediately to inquires but also checked in via email frequently. We stay in VRBOs often and we had a very pleasant experience! These are not negatives but sharing for others that may rent. Parking is free and on the street. We never had a problem finding a spot but it was not always right next to the property. We only had 1 vehicle so it was very easy for us. We hit Mixed Grounds Coffee about .8 miles away and had excellent coffee and açaí bowls. Would 100% recommend this property to a families or groups of adults."

Guests will have access to everything shown in the photos. Street parking is free and plentiful, and the home comes with one assigned parking space in the alley behind the property.

The Neighborhood:
Our apartment is just two blocks from Barrio Logan, an artistic, industrial area with Mexican roots. At its heart is Chicano Park, with dozens of murals depicting the community’s past activism, alongside images of notable figures like Frida Kahlo. Former warehouses on Logan Avenue now house galleries, taco shops, and craft breweries and coffee shops where you can experience the city skylines, local music and even the occasional wild parrot flying overhead!

We love being 1 to 2 miles from downtown, a quick Uber to beautiful Coronado Island and its beach, and within a few miles of Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and the fun neighborhoods of North Park, South Park, Golden Hill, and Hillcrest. We'd be happy to tell you about our favorite spots!

Getting Around:
The property has one off street parking space. Ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft are a great way to get to Downtown, Coronado Island, Balboa Park, or the North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, or Golden Hill neighborhoods. Barrio Logan is an easy 5 to 10 minute walk.

GUEST
• For security purposes, guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on Airbnb, including a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).
• You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property.
• Check-in is 4PM or later. Check-in instructions will be sent via email the morning of your stay
• No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: Doing either will result in eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.

PETS
• We allow a maximum of two pets and charge a $45 fee per pet, per stay.
• Unfortunately, we do not allow cats at the property.
• No animals are allowed on the beds or any of the furniture.
• If you leave the property, your pet either joins you or stays in their crate.
• If there are any pet-related damages, you will be required to cover any repair or replacement costs.
• Please keep any barking or crying that will disturb neighbors to a minimum.
• Please do your best to clean up after your pet (hair, waste outside…) before check-out.
• We recommend bringing their own bed and food/water bowls.

DAMAGE
• We understand accidents happen. In the event of damage occurring at the property, we require that all guests report any and all damage during their stay, prior to check-out.

SMOKING
• Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property. Evidence of smoking will result in a complete forfeiture of your security deposit.

EVENTS & GATHERINGS
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS are daily from 10PM-8AM.

SECURITY
• This property may implement video surveillance in outdoor public areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests. Additionally, this property may also use Noise Aware technology to ensure the comfort and security of our guests.

VISITORS
• We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests unless previously authorized by the host.

The space
The cottage was built in 1929 with all the charm and characteristics of that era. I have remodeled and updated honoring the charm but adding a modern twist to make it comfortable and quiet.

The cottage is about 750 sq ft so it is cozy but has an open floor concept.

The room is approx. 10 ft x 10 ft and lightly furnished to ensure a comfortable stay. It has its own air conditioning unit and heater.

It is a shared bathroom, as you will be sharing the house with another guest.


The room and bathroom have sliding barn doors-they are not traditional door see bathroom picture for example. These doors may not work for light sleepers or those with loud voices.
Both doors have locks for your privacy.

Quiet hours are from 10pm-6am. No loud voices, gatherings of unregistered guests at anytime, or sound equipment during these hours.


Please note this NOT A SMOKING/VAPING listing. If you are a smoker, this not the place for you. Smoking is not permitted inside or outside property. Absolutely NO cigarette butts in house/trash. During your stay
We love to meet people and as our guests, it is important that we give you your privacy. Once you are nested in to your living quarters, we leave you to your adventures in the city. We share the kitchen with our guests as we live in the property. We can be conveniently reached via text or cell phone for any questions.
It is our goal to make you feel comfortable during your stay.

I am an early riser and usually will be up before the rest of the household.

I love spoiling my guests and to make my guests stay convenient, before they begin their adventures in San Diego, we want them to get a great start! We offer a complimentary, continental breakfast with fresh baked breads, seasonal fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. We also provide complimentary bottled water during your stay.

Upon request, between 7-8 am, we can provide a full breakfast, or you are perfectly welcomed to prepare your own. On the menu, any of the following will be prepared with love just for you during your stay:
Coffee, tea, or juice, daily am meals would include homemade biscuits/gravy, waffles, pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon (pork, turkey, beef chorizo, breakfast potatoes, tortillas, toast, bagels, (seasonal fresh fruit) and steel oats or hot grits. We do offer vegan choices, please let us know your preferences anytime prior to, or upon your arrival. Water is complimentary. You may enjoy your meal in the dining room or in the comfort of your room.
