There are many restaurants and shops close by / Walmart just 2 minutes drive or a short walk. Our property is 10-20 minutes drive from any attraction in Monterey.

Property is a first floor home of a 3-plex. There is one unit on the 2nd floor and a studio next door that could be booked separately. Please note all guests are asked to adhere to quit hours, we are always available to assist if needed. Noise could be expected on lighter scale.

The Oasis shares the main front entrance door with the 2nd floor. Once through them main front door, there are two internal doors, one for the Oasis and one for the 2nd floor.

Parking is limited to two cars in the driveway only and all based on first come, first serve basis. If full, please utilize street parking as we have lots close by.

Our house is located in a quite street close to the major attractions and stores in Marina. Very safe area and walking distance to The Beach!

Almost every place, restaurant, store and beach are within walking distance from our place. We have tons of free street parking directly in front of the house and near by.

" - "This was an easy-highway access location that allowed us to easily see Monterey and Santa Cruz. We unexpectedly also enjoyed the town of Marina: the dunes and cafes and their library’s playground and garden. Very cool little spot!" - "The place is listed as a house however, it's a house divided into 3. Didn't like having the loud noises at 2:00 am each morning from above or all the slamming doors. It's advertised as sleeping six however that means 2 in the spare room (queen), and 4 in the master (1 queen & a day bed). Not really accurate sleeping arrangements Linens looked & felt like used hand-me-downs; Kitchen utensils & dishes came from a garage sale, nothing matched, and there were 30 coffee cups and only about 4 drinking glasses. The walls had hooks with missing pictures, the living room furniture was not clean and one of the couches had a pet cover on it. Shades were missing slats. We weren't there 10 minutes and saw 2 mice running in the kitchen and back bedroom. You can tell the owner/manager is trying to make the place nice but is just missing the target. "

Eat out at one of our area`s great restaurants or stay in with a home-cooked meal. With comfortable seating for up to eight, family style dining is a breeze. Enjoy space and comfy beds.
Get a good night`s rest in the king bed. 2 full baths make your mornings more convenient. Use the BBQ or large kitchen to make homemade meals. Enjoy kids’ bikes and an adult road bike to ride to the beach. The home has been recently renovated with hardwoods throughout, insulated windows, crown molding, and many other upgrades. On a clear day, a peek of the mountain ranges surrounding Steinbeck’s Salinas Valley can be viewed from the home.

For families with little ones, there are some beach toys, a play area in the garage, and a pack-n-play. Also, furniture and TV are secured and the backyard is fully fenced for safety.

The neighborhood is a quiet family location with several schools nearby. While it’s not in downtown Monterey, expect a safe place to enjoy all of the Monterey Bay peninsula, beaches, and surrounding bay towns. Just a few minutes to Marina State Beach, and a short drive along the bay to Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel.

There is ample parking in the driveway and surrounding the corner lot home.

If you are coming from San Francisco or San Jose airports, it is easy to take a shuttle to Marina. The shuttle drop off is just a 4 minute Uber ride from the home. Save money and get your rental car upon arrival, or just use Uber, Lyft, or taxis to get around.

Guest does NOT have access to the backyard which is attached to the 1st floor unit. Please inquire in advance to avoid bothering other guests on the first floor home.

Parking is first come-first serves. Only two cars are allowed in the driveway at anytime. If taken, please park by the red curb, load or unload your vehicle. We have lots of street parking around. Abby way has lots of parking along with Ora Ct (A small cold-a-sac) passing the house to the right hand side.

Please don't ask other guests to move if cars are already there.

Quite hours from 10:00pm-8:00am - Please no running or stomping on the 2nd floor. Noise travels easily to the bottom unit and studio. Thanks you!

Just a few minutes drive to the beach, our 2019-built tiny home is the destination for your next getaway or remote work stay. The tiny home and its outdoor space are fully private spaces for you to enjoy when not out discovering our wonderful Monterey Peninsula.

Enjoy views of the Santa Cruz and Santa Lucia Mountains. This home is so much more spacious than its square footage. Vaulted 11-foot ceilings give the living room and first-floor bedroom a light and airy feel. Large windows bring in ample light. Enjoy the outdoor seating area or the convertible dining table. Flexible furniture saves space without sacrificing comfort.

The loft bedroom features a vaulted ceiling, king bed, and a comfortable workspace with a view.

For families with little ones, there is a small playhouse with a whiteboard and a pack-n-play. Also, furniture and TV are secured for safety, stove knobs have safety covers, and a ladder blocker is available for the loft ladder.

We may or may not be out of the area during your stay but we can be reached using Airbnb messaging. If we are away, we work with a neighbor should you need anything. We are happy to offer any recommendations for your stay.

The neighborhood is a quiet family location with several schools nearby. While it’s not in downtown Monterey, expect a safe place to enjoy all of the Monterey Peninsula, beaches, and surrounding bay towns. Just a few minutes to Marina State Beach, and a short drive along the bay to Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel.

Home is easily accessible by car.

Note that getting up to the loft bedroom requires the use of a fixed ladder and a crawl-through opening. For child safety, there is a ladder blocker available (see picture).

Tiny homes require flexible furniture and spaces. Our home features the following:

-Dining table can de folded folded and expanded various ways for flexible seating and space.

-Daybed on first floor can be a twin bed or convert to a king.

-Living room ottoman converts to a surprisingly comfortable twin.

-There are 4 foldable dining chairs on bottom floor. The with the ottoman, the dining table can seat 5, but can be a fairly tight fit.

At full conversion, the tiny home has 2 king beds, 1 twin, and a Pack 'N Play. Please consider whether or not this is appropriate sleeping accommodations for your group.

Accommodation fees are occupancy-based and the amount listed at booking will be accurate for the number of guests on the reservation. Addition of guests after booking will also adjust accommodations fees.

With advance notice, the housekeeping company can usually accommodate late check-out and early check-in for a fee to account for inefficient routes, additional staff, and/or off-site laundry required to prepare the home more quickly. Contact host for current rates.
