Located on the ridge, in a safe, quiet and upscale neighborhood in Hawaii Kai, East Honolulu, just around the corner from famous Hanauma Bay, Halona Blow Hole, spectacular Sandy Beach and more! Sea Life Park, Makapuu Beach and Waimanalo Beach are all about 10 minutes away.
This beautifully appointed open concept residence, is light, airy, pleasant, peaceful and immaculate! A private entrance takes you through a cozy garden, down a few steps, to a welcoming deck and your front door. As soon as you come in, you can enjoy the fantastic view that you can admire from almost every room! With a complete kitchen with gas stove and oven, a full size refrigerator, and long granite counter-tops; you can cook as much or as little as you like. We have a tall dining table set where you can sit and marvel at the view while you enjoy your meals. In front of a big window, you will find a nice area that you could use as a desk. The breezy open concept living room area includes a sleeper sofa, coffee table, armchairs and TV.
The main bedroom has gorgeous views as well! You can watch the sunrise as well as the moonrise from your comfortable queen size bed. Although there is always a nice breeze, there is a ceiling fan for your comfort as well as an air conditioner unit. This bedroom is separated from the main living area by a half wall to maximize view and airflow.
The second bedroom also has a comfortable queen size bed and an air conditioner unit. This bedroom is perfect for those who prefer to sleep in a darker room, its window doesn't offer a view but lets in the fresh air, and this room offers more privacy with a door that separates it from the main living area.

The entrance to ‘China Walls’ surf area was right in the neighborhood and a local favorite. The home was clean, well-kept and the on-site host Peggy could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The home is about 2,000 SQF, central kitchen and living room and fit our party of 8 nicely. The home was equipped with AC which was a huge plus! Sunsets are perfect, we enjoyed many evenings outside grilling and soaking in the Hawaii life. Overall I would for sure stay here again, Peggy and the home were wonderful!!"

Sunny is a superb hostess. She responded to all my inquiries very quickly, corrected a few minor items (more of our not familiar with the equipment rather than malfunction) almost immediately with help of maintenance. - "We are a family of 17. The house was very comfortable with beautiful views of the ocean. There was plenty of room for everyone. The patios were a plus. The only drawback was the house isn’t handicapped accessible/equipped. For example stairs entry only and no bathrooms are handicapped equipped. This makes it difficult for the elderly and amputees. But the house met all our expectations and needs. Taylor was a great host and we had a wonderful time."

- "Do not book this place. For the following reasons: 1. The place was not clean when I moved there. They came and cleaned it afterwards. No towels, no soaps, no linens, nothing! 2. From the first week I told them that internet is super slow. It was even too slow for watching Netflix! Multiple times it would time out. The company didn’t do anything about it although I asked them 4 different times. 3. The people upstairs had a dog that constantly barked. Day and night. And the owners would yell load “STOP”. I mentioned this also 4 times and they didn’t do anything about it. Overall I did not enjoy my stay, it wasn’t quiet, I had a very bad internet, and the managing company always replied with “we’re sorry, we have notified the local manager” in which I never heard from them. I do not recommend you stay there."

Eddie and Harumi and their family is what I love is all about. Smile’s, caring and be chill vibe. I stayed in the master suite with private bath Along with AC if you are so inclined. Double sliding doors to their back area. I slept with them open and welcomed the breeze and morning bird songs. You can throw a dinner party for 8 in the bathroom alone! Great walk in shower and a spa tub. Eddie and Harumi’s home is very convenient Koko head, Hanauma Bay, Makapu’u beach, sandy beach, Sealife Park or head in the opposite direction and in a few short minutes hit up Kahala Mall on your way to Waikiki with all of that it has to offer Or get your shopping fixed at Ala Moana Shopping Center or hit the Beach Park across the street. Don’t forget the Palace and Art Museum too. From the house you can walk over to the neighborhood shopping plaza for Food Land grocery or eat at a variety of local food shops or stop off to Uncle Clay’s shop for some awesome shaved ice! A bank, McDonald’s, satellite post office, hair salon, Nail Parlor, Hot yoga, shoe store, and Longs Drugs (CVS) is across the way for any personal items or that bag of ice, beach towel and sunscreen on the way to the beach! Skip the crazy traffic and hotels and parking expense attached.. go for the local Eddie and Harumi’s place!

"Tutu's Hale" a hidden tropical oasis in East Honolulu, features 1 bedroom and 1 bath, living room, kitchen, walk-in closet, outdoor patio space with hammock swings and furniture, with access to our shared dry sauna, cold plunge and outdoor shower. Those in need of transport can rent our 2010 Mazda 3 ($250/month). Kuliouou Valley is surrounded my the Koolau Mountains and the unit is within walking distance to the beach. It's a short drive to numerous hiking trails, beaches, and Costco.
The guesthouse can comfortably accommodate 2 adults and child. The one bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, walk-in closest and direct access to the patio. An AeroBed is provided for additional sleeping options. The unit has plantation shutters for privacy, and black out curtains in the bedroom.
The unit comes fully furnished with Split AC, wifi, kitchenette with full size fridge, coffee bar, electric stove-top, microwave and toaster oven. Guests will have access to Netflix, Hulu Live TV, HBO Max, and Disney +.
