Upon arrival, we were provided the code to the unit and had contactless check in. The unit itself is attached to the main house. It’s a “mother in law” suite to the main house. It’s is extremely comfortable and the host provided everything you might need. The kitchen area is a kitchenette with no stove, but full size fridge and microwave. The bedroom and bathroom were also very nice and spacious. There is a washer/dryer combo and detergent provided. The location is in a newer neighborhood close to highways, stores and restaurants. The parking is street parking right in front of the unit. The location/neighborhood has several walking trails and parks. It is approximately 20 mins from downtown Denver without traffic. We very much enjoyed our stay and our first rental in Denver. We will definitely be back next time we are in town."

Our apartment is in the Central Park neighborhood. The neighborhood is east of Downtown Denver, which was formerly known as Stapleton. The neighborhood is in Central Park, one of Denver's largest parks, with eighty acres of urban hiking trails, a big playground, and beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. Central Park is known as one of the best neighborhoods to stay in when visiting Denver since the area boasts a connected community, local and national businesses, green space, and entertainment options. The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has a stop at Montview Blvd & Kingston St, which is only a short 15-20 minute walk from our apartment that you can take to Union Station, which will place you in the heart of Downtown Denver. Central Park includes a recreation center, the Denver Public Library – Sam Gary Branch, business centers, and art installations visitors enjoy.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Denver suburbs look no further! This space is a two bedroom, one bath basement sweet, with a separate entrance in a quiet family neighborhood. This location is fantastic, being two blocks away from the Denver National Wildlife Refuge with lots of hiking and biking trials and being a 20 minute drive to downtown Denver. Also, only a 10 minute drive to the airport this location is hard to beat!
- "The appt was cute. It was loacted in the basement of the residence which I didn't realize when I booked. We checked out on Sat as it was uncomfortable. I messaged the owner but never heard back. Not a bad place at all for people who are comfortable staying in a shared residence." - "Nice refinished basement, in a quiet neighborhood (roughly 20 minutes east of downtown Denver, & 15 minutes west of the airport). The lack of a stove/oven and kitchen sink didn't really pose any problem (there IS a microwave), and there was plenty cutlery, dishes & mugs/glassware... which you could wash yourself in the bathroom sink, or just leave for the host to wash. Our only (fairly small) complaints: * There's no thermostat to control the heating (it's all done by the hosts upstairs), and during our stay over Christmas it was somewhat cool (mid 60s), even after communicating with the host about it. * Effectively there was no soap in the bathroom: the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty, and the liquid soap dispenser at the bathroom sink didn't work. Good thing we brought out own soap. * Although the place overall was pretty comfortable, it seems a little neglected: a bit of the wallpaper was peeling off at the ceiling, the shower curtain was way too long and actually kind of gross (dirty, maybe mold?), and carpet stains. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay."

Namaste and Welcome to Sherpa Niwas! Located 11.9 miles from Denver Airport (DIA), 11 miles to downtown Denver and close to major freeways (I-70, I-225 and I-270). Also steps away from local RTD bus route service; an ideal place to stay if you are arriving late or catching your early morning flight out of DIA. Parking is on-street in front of house, plenty of space - no restrictions. We have a keyless entry; so late check-in is not a problem. No deposit and no additional cleaning fees!
The space
This bedroom is on the main floor and has nice queen bed, dresser with mirror, nightstand with lamp, large closet and a small work desk. There are an extra comforter and a small folding stool in the closet. Enjoy a private bath right next door. Only adults live in the house and no pets.
Guest access
We have a keyless entry and the code is provided before you check-in. Please lock the door (deadbolt) after you enter the house. We do have check-in/check-out time set but we are flexible if we don't have guests living or you may wait until we get your room ready.
It's a tri-level house. Use the main entrance to enter, your room is on the lower level downstairs on your right and has Airbnb sign on the door.
There is a Keurig Coffee Maker in the kitchen, silverware in the drawer just below coffee maker. Mini fridge and microwave for guests use in the Family Room (next to your room). Some complimentary bottled water in the mini fridge.
