The bedrooms were very warm even with windows open and fans on. I don't know if it was unseasonably warm weather for this time of year in the area, but it was a bit uncomfortable getting to sleep. Overall our stay was enjoyable and the home was as pictured in the photos. The exercise room was definitely a plus for our active people. Would recommend. "

The living room features a large sectional couch that easily seats 5 and there's a super comfy chaise lounge big enough for two. There is currently a 70" Sony HD SmartTV! Cable is through HULU streaming app along with Netflix and AppleTV hooked up- just sign in to your accounts to stream. There is also a Sony DVD/BluRay player and surround sound system for recreating that theatre-like experience. Many DVDs to choose from direct from the studios- if coming during Awards season many are still in the theatres. Bluetooth speaker streams any music platform you prefer (Spotify, Pandora, etc) directly from your smartphone or tablet. High speed wifi and a wireless printer available for you to print out boarding passes or amusement park tickets.

There is a gas bbq directly off the kitchen for grilling out and enjoying meals on the patio.
Please clean the grill after you use it.
There is a new 11ft cantilever umbrella to protect you from the sun yet still enjoy the outdoors.
Patio table comfortably seats 6. The seat cushions are brand new. Please put them away when not in use to keep clean and prevent fading

Long secured driveway can safely park your cars for free. You'll he just steps from the door. Always safe and convenient and no parking tickets that can put a damper on a vacation :)

Master bedroom is very spacious and over 16 feet wide. Stretch out and enjoy. Queen bed, MyPillow, nightstand, dresser and full closet system with places for shoes, valuables, etc. Plenty of room for your stuff for an extended stay

Second bedroom has a full sized bed and MyPillow and walk in closet. Both beds have memory foam toppers on them for a comfortable nights sleep

Guest access

Entire house is yours except for a side (3rd) room I have locked with my personal belongings and behind the blue curtain off the laundry room. I've just stashed some household items here and do not interfere at all with laundry use.

Interaction with guests

I will be staying in a detached guest house in the rear of the property. The house and guest house are completely separate structures so I can be as far or as close as you prefer.

The neighborhood

NoHo is an up and coming neighborhood that is just minutes from Universal Theme Park, Burbank Airport and Burbank's studios (Disney, Warner Brothers and Nickelodean) and its Arts District features many dance studios (such as the world famous Millennium), the Art Institute, the Motion Picture Academy, restaurants with different cuisines, theatres, cafes, juice bars, coffeeshops and bars.

Getting around

I am 5 minutes from Burbank Airport ($7 Uber ride); 2 blocks from National Rental Car; freeway access to the (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and 405 are all no problem.

The Metro NoHo is a 1 mile walk or you can drive and park in the lot. Just 1 stop later on the Red line and you're at Universal, 2 stops and you're in Hollywood

Other things to note

The backyard is currently being developed and is not part of the rental. Of course no work will be done to interrupt guest's privacy

Our beautiful guesthouse has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and its own private fenced and landscaped yard complete with patio furniture, BBQ, a relaxing hammock and fountain.
The luxurious main bedroom with a king bed, has French doors opening to the back yard and a full bath attached with a clawfoot tub and stall shower. The 2nd bedroom has a daybed and pop-up trundle bed, (2 single beds which can be joined to make a king if preferred). There is a double sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests. We also have single rollaway beds and a pack & play crib if needed.
Prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen and eat either on the patio or the dining table for 6 in the living room which also has a gas fireplace for those cool evenings. A 2nd full bath is accessed off the living room.
Although located on a quiet residential street access to freeways and Metro-rail is only a few blocks away. Close to supermarkets, coffee houses, lots of great restaurants & local night life venues.

Our central location provides convenient access to major studios, Universal City entertainment complex (featuring Universal Studios & City Walk, Universal Amphitheater concert venue, multi-theater complex, shops & restaurants), NOHO Arts district and metro-rail station to Hollywood, (walk-of-fame, Graumann's Chinese Theater & Kodak Theater, home of the 'Oscars') and to downtown, Disney Concert Hall, (Frank Gehry's architectural masterpiece), charming Olvera St, Chinatown etc.

What you cannot see in pictures is that it is equipped with extra feather pillows, every toiletry you might have forgotten, laundry soap, a first aid kit, a desk with supplies, fully stocked supplies in the kitchen -baggies, napkins, foil, fragrant candles. The furnishings are comfortable with several throws and pillows, the towels are soft and plentiful, the place is spotless and a parking spot off the street! Helen is responsive and gracious in every way. If you get the chance, I absolutely recommend you stay here."

Nestled on a quiet tree lined cul de sac in beautiful Valley Village, this charming home is set in a garden on a quarter acre lot with a circular drive and covered parking. It features a salt water pool large enough for laps, a wood burning fireplace, and a large office perfect for an executive in town to work and relax. It’s only minutes from Studio City, Disney, Warner Brothers, CBS, Universal Studios and the Burbank airport. This quiet neighborhood is also near the Metro station, NOHO Arts District, the Television Academy and trendy eateries and shopping on Ventura Blvd. A short drive takes you to downtown LA, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, West LA, Santa Monica and LAX.

The open and airy design includes a large office, family room, two generous sized bedrooms, master bath and central hall bath with original tile. In the office an expansive desk looks out on the front garden, and is complete with wireless printer/scanner, a large comfortable couch and a CD/stereo. The family room has the fireplace, smart TV with DVD player, an oversized comfy sleeper couch for additional guests, and dining area with four high seats for a view of the garden. Glass doors open onto the outdoor sitting area and secluded pool. Both bedrooms have large closets and queen size beds complete with high quality linens, pillows and comforters. The master bedroom has a mirrored dressing room, glass doors opening onto a patio and path to the pool, and marble vanity in the master bath. Both bathrooms have generous tubs and a shower. The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters, a farmers sink and door leading to the outdoor gas barbecue. Hardwood and bamboo floors run throughout the entire home.

Our aim is to provide a completely comfortable living environment. Everything you may need is waiting for you, just bring your suitcase!

The outdoor living space is paved with blended slate stone pavers and features a generously sized pool surrounded by blooming vines, bamboo and trees creating a private space for lounging in the sun or dining under the umbrella at the table next to the pool. Although the pool is behind a locked gate and tall fence that surrounds the garden area, there is no perimeter fence between the pool and the house. Thus it is not safe for unattended children.

The garden changes with the seasons and often features blooming flowers and trees. Hummingbirds and butterflies are frequent guests. Just last year a mourning dove couple raised three chicks in the Staghorn Fern that hangs outside the master bedroom.

Cable TV with Netflix and HBO, Wireless internet, wireless printer/scanner, washer & dryer, microwave, ice-maker, central air conditioning and heat, iron & ironing board,. Cleaning is required bi-weekly (additional charge) but available more frequently on request.
