We’re apparently among the early visitors. We were on the second floor (a walk-up) (we’re a couple in our 70s, still reasonably mobile; stairway to 2nd floor could be challenge for some). The 2nd floor can accommodate up to 7, say, for a group, or a smaller number of individuals or couples. Three 2nd floor bedrooms, small, (each with its own digital lock); but spacious common TV, dining area, and modern kitchen, and modern bathroom — all simply but tastefully appointed. The immediate neighborhood is not fancy but seemed safe. A $15 Uber/Lyft ride to downtown, slightly more from/to O’Hare. For us, making a short overnight stay en route to connecting with Chicago friends and rental car travel to a neighboring state, this was an excellent value, and an enjoyable guesthouse experience!"

There is a public golf course 5 minutes from the unit. We are close to many restaurants and North Riverside shopping mall is only 10 minutes away! (1138 California). For dinner-uber nice recently opened: the-hi-lo.com, 1108-1110 N. California-really awesome art deco/vintage mix design + super cool outdoor covered patio, bar full kitchen. Alternative dinner option: Segnatore, California/Augusta corner across from Spinning, french style bistro restaurant. Quick bite, local brewery beer: Lucy's 1043 California, American burgers, chicken, pulled pork, beer sidewalk patio, pet friendly- as well as hi-lo. He was available for all questions, and is such a genuine lovely person. We had absolutely no problems at all with our stay, but I am confident Igors would have been able to help if there had been. If you're staying with pets I'd recommend bringing baby gates with you- I kept my dogs in the kitchen area and it worked very well for us. I felt the living rooms were just too nice to have my dogs trampling through them constantly. The neighborhood has some hidden gems - Diana's restaurant is walking distance and has amazing food. It's a small Puerto Rican restaurant that has a selection of meals and sandwiches - but they were the highlight of our trip! Great breakfast and lunch spot! (Try the hot sauce! Homemade secret recipe that can't be beat!). Humboldt Park also has a lot to offer within walking distance - the lagoon is beautiful and has many activities to offer. The neighborhood has a small feel - which I enjoyed. It is helpful to have a car here though for trips into the city or shopping. Parking was very easy as long as you pay attention to the signs. I will definitely be back to stay at this apartment. Thank you Igors for everything!"

This amazing space right in the heart of Ukrainian Village + West Town not far from Wicker Park. Large Kitchen with island, dishwasher, oven, microwave and all the kitchen stuff you need! The bathroom is large with a clawfoot tub. The bedroom has large french doors that separate rooms. The bed is a brand new memory foam mattress. There is also a convertible couch to accompany more guests.

In the backyard are amazing japanese maples, a grill, and smoker. This is a common area for all guests.

The neighborhood is very safe and close to shopping and tons of restaurants. This area is considered the most hip and trendy in Chicago.

The metra is only 3 blocks away {8 minutes to downtown} and you can hop on the CTA Bus {Chicago and Grand} and go straight downtown. Divvy bikes on the corner of Chicago and Damen & Grand and Damen.

Our place isn't called iKlektik House for nothing! We decorate with our artwork along with co-workers and friends. Definitely has a style of it's own.

Keyless entry. We will send personal keycode and instructions on how to access the apartment a week prior to check in date.

Private entrance. Full access to backyard with grill and smoker! Feel free to lounge in the hammock under the pergola.

Brighton Park is a largely residential neighborhood on Chicago's Far South Side. Borrowing its name from Brighton, Massachusetts, the area is known for being a hub of trucking and transportation. But, despite its industrial and commercial draws, it's mostly a blossoming residential area home to Chicagoans who want easy access to the city but having a quiet neighborhood to call their own. Brighton Park attracts folks from all across the city looking for a true community to call home.

Ride-sharing apps or public transportation is what we recommend especially if you plan on going into the city where parking is hard and/or expensive to find. A train ride is often faster than driving during peak traffic hours and maximizing your time in the area is key during a short stay.

Parking is usually not too difficult on this block, but can get tighter in the evenings.
