Our home is a five minute walk from hiking trails leading to the Santa Monica Mountains, a 10 minute walk to the Palisades Village and a 15 minute walk to the beach! Guests will have full privacy as they relax in this peaceful space. There is a driveway with both pathway and stairs that leads from the street to the back guest home. The guest home can comfortably accommodate up to Three guests -- 1 queen sized bed (sleeps two) and 1 leather sofa (sleeps one). The bathroom has a stand-up shower, toilet, and sink, along with complimentary shampoo/conditioner, towels, and other accessories with one step to get into bathroom, and another step to access the toilet. The kitchen space has granite and porcelain countertops with island space for work or eating, as well as an electric cooktop with hood vent, stainless steel appliances (toaster oven, kettle, coffee pot, mini-fridge, etc.), and table ware. In addition, the space includes cabinet space, dressers for clothing, USB charging stations, a wall-mounted 4K HDR flat screen TV (DirecTV Satellite, Roku, Amazon FireStick, etc.), and Wi-Fi.

Ample free parking is available on the street. Please do not block driveways. Bus stop just around the corner that can get you all over LA.

We expect all guests to keep the shared spaces clean and tidy. Guests will be able to lock the home to ensure privacy and safety. This space is not suitable for infants and small children. Also, there is a small dog on the premises. The backyard and patio are shared spaces. Absolutely no smoking on the premises.

Please note per LA home sharing ordinance, our guesthouse is for maximum 2 adults and any other guest must be under 18 years old. This guest can sleep in our very comfortable leather couch.

If guests need to borrow anything (power converters, toiletries that were forgotten at home, etc.) please feel free ask, and we may be able to supply you with what you need.

To ensure proper cleaning and preparation of the guesthouse for the next reservation, we have a strict check-out time. Any guest that has not checked out by 11 am PST is subject to a $20 late check-out fee.

For safety and security there are external security cameras around the property, never facing the guesthouse.

Heart House is located in Santa Monica Canyon. A stunning area at the north end of Santa Monica. Our house is just a block to the beach and only a 4 minute walk to the world famous Will Rogers Beach, also known as “Bay Watch Beach". We are excited to announce that Will Rogers State Beach just received an A rating for water quality from Heal the Bay. This charming bungalow is perfect for couples or families with 2 children. Two Bedrooms, two bathrooms, a King size bed in the Master Bedroom and two twins in the 2nd Bedroom. We are happy to accommodate 5 people as long as one is a small child that can use a pack and play. House features include complete privacy behind beautiful Redwood Fence and Gate. There is a spacious Indoor/Outdoor Room for entertaining and relaxing. Other features include Free Wi-Fi High Speed Internet connectivity, DirectTV, all new Stainless Steel appliances, 50' LED Flat screen HD television, beautiful floor to ceiling brick gas Fireplace in the Living Room, a four person Jacuzzi Hot Tub and mini ping pong table for the kids. Parking is provided for one car on the property as well as ample street parking.

The Heart House does not have central air conditioning. We do have a portable unit that we can set up for you. It will cool the master bedroom down but not the whole house. Because we are located so close to the beach we rarely even need it. All the rooms are equipped with ceiling fans that do a wonderful job cooling the rooms.
Seven restaurants are easily accessible within a 2 minute walk, as well as a small market and liquor store.
No keys to deal with or lose during your stay. Both the Front Gate and Front Door to the house is controlled by an Electronic Door lock and both use the same pass-code, for your convenience! You simply get a 4 digit code to make your stay that much easier.

The Santa Monica Canyon, historically known for its artists writers, and musicians as well as Hollywood industry types, retains a charm and casual sophistication for which Los Angeles is so famous. You will immediately feel relaxed and at home.

The balcony was a bit tight for 4 people, but we made it work and still managed to squeeze our group of 4 adults out there plus a dog, as it is sooo beautiful and peaceful! ...Its very cozy and again, the views at night are amazing...Important to note, like any cool hillside beach retreat in area, there are LOTS of stairs to get to beach and back ...So if you have "beach stuff" you plan to bring to beach, it's a lot. We ended up driving a couple times, which was quick, easy and no issues with parking at beach at all, as its all right there...Overall, this is super cute, clean, cozy retreat, really close to ocean with stunning views...would stay here again...Thanks Anna for a great stay, we really enjoyed our time here, and wished we were able to stay longer..."
