Getting Around

We are 30-45 min from the MCO Orlando airport and about the same distance from Sanford airport. We have a driveway and can accommodate 2 or 3 cars. One should have a car to fully enjoy central Florida but there is UBER and Lyft nearby.

On the right side of the house is the master suite and master bath which are huge. The Master has a king bed, 2 large closets, 2 vanities, a double walk in shower. The master is beautifully decorated. The middle of the house has a sitting room with two sofas that leads through into the family room and kitchen. The family room/kitchen area is large with two large sofas and a nice size table for dining. The kitchen is large and has an island. The kitchen is spotless. Through the left of the kitchen through a small hallway are two bedrooms and a bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and is also nicely decorated. The 3rd bedroom has two twins and is decorated nicely as well. There is a nice size bathroom between the two bedrooms. It is not a true Jack and Jill as the entrance to the bathroom is in the hallway, not through the bedrooms. The hallway is somewhat private. The 4th bedroom described as a Cabana is through the far side of the family room. There is a small bathroom that can be accessed and seen from the end of the family room. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed. Once again it is decorated nicely. The bathroom does not have a private entrance into the bedroom but is adjacent to it. The biggest surprise was when you enter the home to the right was what could be a study that instead has two twin beds. There is 1 king, 2 queens, and 2 twins for a total of 7 beds. You could easily sleep 10 in this house comfortably. There is a large dining room as you enter as well as a table in the kitchen/family room. The lanai was spotless and the furniture was nice. There is a beautiful pond. The home is on a cul de sac in a very beautiful neighborhood. Our family was so pleased. The home was more than expected. There are a few downsides with the faux leather couch that has been covered but is “shedding” and the kitchen had a small amount of flatware & glasses. There was only 1 tv but that was not an issue for our family."

We enforce good neighbor policies on all managed properties. Renting homes in a neighborhood/community is a privilege and must be treated as such. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times and respect the rules of the community. We do not provide speakers and/or sound systems on-site.

Anyone found to be violating noise ordinances will be subject to an immediate $3,000 fine, in addition to City-imposed fines which can reach up to $10,000 per violation, and can be removed from the property due to negligence.

SMOKING
To keep the property fresh and clean for all, smoking is not permitted inside. If smoke is detected, there will be a $1,000 fee for proper deep cleaning and odor removal. Violating this policy may result in guests being liable for the full cost of damage resulting from it.

PARTIES & EVENTS
Gatherings with your group are great, however, parties and events are not allowed. Any evidence of such will result in a $3,000 FINE and an immediate termination of your booking. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to keep the property in wonderful shape for all guests to come.

SECURITY CAMERAS / NOISE MONITORING
Please note that each home has anywhere from 3-4 security cameras covering the outside areas of the property only. These are to remain on and running at all times, solely to be used for security purposes and to ensure the safety of the property and traveler. Security cameras can be located on all angles of the exterior property, including the pool & common areas.

Additionally, we do equip each of our homes with a noise level monitoring device This is to remain active to monitor the decibel/sound levels only, to
protect against noise complaints from neighbors. It does not record any conversations, simply noise levels.

Lastly, we have a device connected to each home, that will alert to the number of devices at the home, to combat any large gatherings and/or parties.

A great “getaway” environment just outside Orlando, but with easy access to all of Orlando's and Central Florida’s many attractions. Located approximately 30 mins to Sea/Disney World, 20 mins to charming Mr. Dora as well as historic Winter Park, and 10-15 mins to Wekiva/Kelly Park. Short drives to multiple supermarkets and dining options.

Although the house needed a bit of work, it was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. ▶ We are happy to accommodate small pets at our property. A non-refundable pet fee of $125 per pet per stay will be applied only to guests who indicate they are bringing a pet when making their reservation. If this is not indicated at the time of booking, we will request the pet fee payment manually.

▶ No parties. Significant noise or playing loud music after 9:00 pm will result in you being asked to leave without a refund for the remaining time of your reservation.

▶ No smoking of any substance is permitted in the unit. Evidence of any type of smoking will result in a $250 fee, and you will be asked to leave without a refund for the remaining time of your reservation.

▶ Check-in is at/after 4 pm and check-out time is no later than 11 am. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability. Late check-out without prior approval will result in a fee of $100 per hour for each hour after 11 am.

▶ TRASH: Trash bins are located on the carport. Trash is picked up Tuesday mornings at 8am. Please ensure all trash bags are properly sealed and placed in the bins before collection time.

▶ Do not flush paper towels, wipes, trash, or feminine products down the toilet. Please use the bins instead. If it is found that something has been flushed and clogged the septic system, you could be charged damages.

▶ Our properties are professionally cleaned and treated regularly for pests. Due to the local climate, occasional insects may enter the home despite our best efforts. Please let us know if you experience any issues, and we’ll address them immediately.

The Islander Tree House on Stilts is out of the way and quiet but within an hour to an hour and a half drive to many things. The Ocala National Forest, Silver Springs, Beaches, Disney and the attractions in Orlando as well as several nice hiking areas are close by. The little towns of Mt. Dora, Eustis, Tavares, and Leesburg are all close and offer restaurants and shops and are fun excursions as well.

The space
Stairs are required to get to the guest house and are a consideration when deciding to stay here.

The Islander House on Stilts is so much fun! You feel like you are in a tree house. There are pretty views out of every window. The little house is tucked away down a long drive between the main house and a pasture. It is secluded and quiet. The porch is perfect for sitting and relaxing. The interior is cute and comfortable!

You enter using a coded keypad deadbolt. Once inside you will find a open living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen includes a full size sink, a hooded apartment size range, a refrigerator, and a island worktop. The dining area has a larger table and chairs. The living area has a couch, two recliners, a wall mounted flat screen TV and a desk.

There are two bedrooms. One bedroom adjoins the bathroom and has a queen size sleep number bed. The second bedroom holds two twin size beds. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination and a pedestal sink.

The windows overlook a pasture, a beautiful live oak tree and the gardens and yard of the main house.

Guest access
Guests will have covered parking under the Islander House on Stilts with access to the stairs just a few steps away. A car is needed for transportation in the area. Uber and taxis are available if needed.

A place to relax and not worry about your safety or your conversations being heard. Very quiet and safe Neiborhood. House is located in a subdivision on a corner lot, in a cu-da-sac.

Lots of lighting around the outside of the house. You are never in the dark. Private driveway with a security camera to protect your parked vehicle. Outside door camera is deactivated when guest is occupying the apartment.

Recently remodeled with a lot of new upgrades.

TV Roku stick services, Board games, magazines, and private Wi-Fi available. (Plates, cups, utensils, wine opener, wine glasses, etc.) Keurig coffee with a filter system, a few water bottles. Most of the items you would find in your own home. It's a home away from home with a unique style. Lots of extra; the master bedroom has a reading light on the wall for your reading convenience with end tables. The computer desk is located in the TV room. The desk has individual iPhone and Laptop USB ports & Outlets on the desk itself for your working convenience. Including a desk light.

This condo has 1 bedroom with one king sized bed, and a queen pull out couch in the living room. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance including Orchid Thai Cuisine, Peach Valley Cafe, Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza, Stonewood Grill and Tavern, and Samurai Sushi along with many more just a few minutes' drive away. You can walk or drive to the nearby Walgreens and Winn Dixie. It is located conveniently close to the main highway I4 and almost directly between the beautiful Florida beaches and many theme parks. Our private, lakefront guest suite is located on the lower level of our home. Our active family lives upstairs but the entire guest suite is yours to use for up to 4 people. There is a locked door that separates it from the rest of the house and a private entrance to the guest suite with keyless entry.

There is one large bedroom which includes a King bed and two IKEA Twin size beds that are stacked on top of each other and easily moveable. The Twin beds are low to the ground, making them perfect for kids.

This space is great for 2 adults and 2 kids. 4 adults are welcome to stay as well, just make a note of the sleeping arrangements and the one car limit.

The space also includes a small kitchenette with coffee maker, microwave, toaster and a full bathroom.
