River View Loft in Historic Downtown Vicksburg, Ms. This one of a kind Loft boasts over 1700 sq. ft. of original wide planked wood floors, brick walls and wood beam ceilings. It overlooks the Yazoo Diversion Canal to the West ( living area) and the east end (bedroom ) faces the Old Court House and Historic Downtown. This building dates back to the 1800's and was used as an old speakeasy in the roaring 20's. It features a huge private King Suit with custom headboard. Attached is a walk-in closet with laundry and on- suite bath with a large two- person jacuzzi tub with rain shower. The main living area is an open concept kitchen and living room with a guest bath which includes an old cast iron tub. We have tried to keep many of the originals features of this space while providing modern comforts. Please note that the loft is up two flights of stairs.

VACATION! RETREAT! REUNION! PARTY! WEDDING! RECEPTION!

The ULTIMATE Lake House! The Oxbow boasts 5 bedrooms/ 4 baths + a huge sleeping porch. The house sleeps up to 26 guests with extra space for blow up mattresses.

The upstairs living area is an enormous 1200 square feet and opens to a 575 square foot covered balcony with fans. The balcony is 48 feet wide. The Oxbow is an entertainment heaven for family, friends, weddings, business meetings, etc.

This property is very charming and unique....all the walls are either pine or white-washed brick and all the ceilings and counters (kitchen & baths) are aged tin. Antique collections abound.

The new 500 sq ft addition holds a monstrous bathroom/ dressing room with 3 sinks and a huge shower "room" (5x7). The bath is designed like a cabana in that it has a door to the outside so the kids can enter without having to go through the house. The addition also holds a 2nd full-size laundry room. There are 2 bedrooms on the upper level. One has a king bed and the other has a queen bed.

The downstairs has another large den that has a sleeper sofa and a daybed, 2 bedrooms, one that has a king size bed, one that has a queen size bed plus a day bed, the nook bedroom that has a queen size bed, 2 baths and a 600 sq ft screened sleeping porch. We are excited to announce that the sleeping porch now has AC and heating so that all our guests will be able to rest comfortably whether inside the lodge or on the porch. The porch has bunk beds and day beds that will accommodate 8 guests. We do have one queen blow up mattress available to use.

The lake side of the house is all glass upstairs AND downstairs....the views and sunsets are AWESOME! The top floor has a vaulted ceiling that brings the sunset inside. From the upstairs den, you step out to a 48' wide deck.

There is a handicap ramp leading into the lodge and one of the bathrooms upstairs has a walk in shower that has a shower chair.

The dock covers 2700 sq. ft of space and has one boat slip with lift. A huge swim dock (32x16) has been added. The new swim dock has built-in benches for enjoying the sunset and watching the kids. The dock swing is a favorite perch for watching those gorgeous sunsets.

Fishing off the dock is a favorite of many of our guests.

There's plenty of room inside and out and the property is very private. We do have outside surveillance cameras located for security purposes. One is located outside the carport showing the driveway as guests come in. The second one is located in a tree viewing the walkway on the side of the house where guests enter the property.

The house is very well equipped...plenty of linens, pots & pans. Small appliances include 2 coffee pots, one regular and one Keurig. Other appliances include a mixer, a toaster, Ninja blender, air fryer and crockpots. We have 2 outdoor grills. One is charcoal and one is gas.

Across the street is the Lake Bruin Country club where tennis and golf are offered with a fee being paid by guest. Lake Bruin state park is just a few miles away. It offers walking areas, a splash pad, a swimming area and a boat launch. There is a small entry fee to get into the park.

We are centrally located in Vicksburg Mississippi parallel to I-20 close to everything Vicksburg has to offer: historic Vicksburg National Military Park, Tourist Information Center (both less than a mile) There are museums, Antebellum homes, the Vicksburg Convention Center, many restaurants, Sports parks and Historic downtown which are very close.

Also located in the Holley Rentals 6500 sq ft building is a 2 bedroom ID 2867776 & Holley Rentals 1 bedroom apartment ID1987010 …Both can be rented for extra guests. We currently live in an upstairs apartment.

We purchased this property in 1999. It was a vacant mechanic shop and had been vacant for around 10 years. Through the years, during the time we have owned the property, it has been many different things, currently it is occupied by a hair salon and 3 corporate rentals. Welcome to our favorite escape and home away from home! Located on the deep water side of beautiful Lake Bruin, our lake house will not disappoint.

Enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the sun rise over the lake, or grill on the porch and watch it set across the pecan orchard. Park your fishing boat in the slip, or just enjoy the paddle boards and other dock toys. Or, if you are looking for a beautiful location for remote work, the house is fully equipped with WiFi.

The kitchen is open and well-appointed, with a new fridge, range, dishwasher, and huge farmhouse sink. The bar seats six, and the large table in the same room seats 8. We have recently poured a slab and added a pickleball court out front!
When it's time for bed, the house has a large master with a king bed and an en suite bathroom, featuring both a soaker tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two bunks and a twin (plus an inflatable matress for an extra friend). Our children's favorite place to sleep, though, is the sun porch, which is enclosed with a window unit AC. It has 2 twin beds and a trundle.

Stay in this historic pre-civil war mansion in the heart of historic Vicksburg which was updated in 2013 and has a private pool.

Constructed in 1830, Featherston-Magruder House was first built as a single story structure for Vicksburg's first school and its headmaster, Richard Featherson, and his family, who owned a planation south of Vicksburg on the Natchez trace and ran a supply chain serving the Americans in the Revolutionary War. Dr. Alex Magruder, the great grandson of an indentured servant who arrived in Virginia from Scotland in1653 expanded the house to two stories in 1850 and used the original as a clinic where he treated victims of the 1853 Yellow Fever Outbreak that killed half the city's population. Sold in 1869 to Nathaniel Thomas, son of General George Thomas of the Union army, the house was later owned by Tom Morrissey, a steamboat captain and liquor dealer. Built by slaves in the Greek Revival style, the house was remodeled with Italianate features. This historic mansion was spared the destruction of the siege because of the prisoners of war next door and managed to be hit by only one dud cannonball, which is now a door stop in the parlor.

Located at the epicenter of Civil War history, the property sits in the middle of historic Vicksburg and has easy access to the Civil War national park, a number of historic cotton and sugar plantations, the USS Cairo Museum and is one hour drive from Natchez. The home is a perfect way to end your visit to the Blues Trail and is conveniently located to the riverboat casinos and some of the country's best hunting grounds and bird watching sanctuaries.

The home is one of the first Italianate architecture homes in the US and is decorated with period pieces from 1850s and still feels homey despite its 19th century grandeur.

Located on beautiful Lake St John and nestled in cypress trees this lake house is a hidden treasure. From the 54 ft screened in front porch to the end of the 120 ft pier the sunset views are amazing. It is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Definitely a 5 star rental. Sleeps 10 and two more if you use the sectional to sleep on. Great fishing pier in the shade of cypress trees. You will never want to leave!

Y’all are invited to experience true Southern charm at Belle Terre, a one-of-a-kind pre-Civil War mansion that’s full of history, beauty, and comfort. Built in the 1840s and still standing proud after the Siege of Vicksburg, this three-story home has been thoughtfully updated with modern touches while keeping its timeless character.

On the first floor, you’ll find plenty of space to gather and unwind—enjoy a good book or a game in the library, relax in the cozy sitting room, or share a special meal in the elegant dining room. The kitchen is a cook’s dream, featuring double KitchenAid ovens, a five-burner stovetop, a large fridge, and even an ice maker—great for family dinners or celebrating something special.

Head upstairs to the second floor, where three spacious bedrooms with 14-foot ceilings and king-size memory foam beds await. One bed even has original Civil War-era posts—if you look closely, you can still see saber marks! There’s also a comfy living room with a big smart TV and a door that leads out to the beautiful gallery porch.

The third floor is perfect for kids or extra guests, with two bedrooms that each have a queen bed and a bunkbed, plus pretty views of the Mississippi River.

Belle Terre sits on nearly two private acres, with a lovely brick patio out back—great for grilling, eating outdoors, or just kicking back with family and friends. The home sleeps up to 14 guests, so there’s room for everyone to stretch out and feel right at home.

Newly remodeled! New addition with large kitchen, and master suite. This addition gives the main camp 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The bunk house has two bedrooms and a shared bath. The bunk house is perfect for teenagers. This lake house bungalow is located on big water on Lake Bruin, Louisiana. The camp has a large kitchen and living-dining area. Four TVs with cable. WIFI service is included. The camp houses a large, screened porch with wood burning fireplace. The dock was built in 2020. It has a covered area, sun deck, one boat slip for guest use, and cleats mounted to tie up to. The town of St Jospeh is 7 miles from the camp. St Joe has several shops and restaurants as well as Saturday flea markets. Our camp is located between Netterville Landing and the Country Club. Netterville is a great place to stop by while boating to grab a hamburger or ice cream. They also have live music and rent pontoon boats. The Country Club's golf course is open to the public. Clark's camp Rendezvous is a little rustic in ways, but we think it's the perfect getaway! Please note the bunk house does not have central heat and air, but is sufficiently cooled with two window units. The property is located at 206 Bagley Road.

The new kitchen is amazing, although we ate all of our meals on the screened in porch. The dock was perfect for swimming and getting a little sun. The kids caught more fish than they could count. The location was close enough to the marina, but not too close. My only regret was that we didn’t have enough time to take the kayaks out."

The location of this apartment is great! Wonderful proximity to everything we needed. The neighborhood has a few questionable areas, but we were never bothered. The next door neighbor even gave us an afternoon sousaphone serenade for about an hour while he practiced! It was so fun! My girls loved it. I probably just didn’t catch it in the listing but there is NO CENTRAL AC in this apartment! We were there in June and when we first walked in it was HOT. The A/C remotes for the in room units didn’t make a lot of sense to us either, so we just pushed buttons and prayed. It was pretty warm in the afternoon, but it’s Mississippi in June…that happens. We ran into a few small issues but they were quickly fixed or addressed (needed batteries for the Roku remotes and there was a roof leak in one of the rooms), and the home does need some TLC in places (soft areas on porch, dusty fans, some general old home type stuff), but overall we truly enjoyed our stay! Tim and Lucy were so helpful. You won’t regret a stay in this charming older home! "

- "Listing was as advertised. Our check in process was simple and we spoke with Rueben on multiple occasions and he was great to work with. We had a slight issue with the washer but they quickly got a repair tech out. He diagnosed the issue and the property owner opted to replace it with a new washer. I definitely recommend staying here."
