Very quiet and quaint cabin/house only minutes from the lake. It is an older place with a few uneven floors that adds to the charm. Like going to Grandpa's old place. Has new paint, flooring, cabinets,windows etc. Located in the town of Nason. 250 population. Sits in the peninsula of Rend Lake. Close access to the lake and public boat access and the golf club. There is a family style restaurant/convenience store/bait shop approx. 5 minutes away. The town of Mount Vernon is 15 minutes away and has many restaurants and stores including Lowes, Walmart, McDonalds, Applebees, ETC. The cabin has a Queen bed, bunk-bed, sleeper sofa and extra sofa. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Will sleep seven if you use the sleeper sofa and couch. Washer/dryer in unit. Dishes and appliances and full kitchen. Front porch with chairs. The Pines is a two bedroom, one bath, open living, dining and full kitchen area. As with Buck & Bass Cabins, there are various sleeping configurations. All beds are adult length beds, even the THREE LEVEL Twin XL bunks. The king bed can be configured to make two Twin XL beds if you desire. The living area couch makes out into a comfortable queen size bed. All sheets, plates, glasses and cooking utensils are included. The Pines is the largest of the three cabins. The interior finishes are very nice with a rustic flair. To view the type of interior finishes used view the listings for Buck Cabin and Bass Cabin. The exterior is log siding and green metal roofing. The cabin itself is the largest of the cabins to date at 660 square feet. The deck is also the largest to date. We have a fish cleaning station and plenty of room for your boat with the ability to charge batteries. There is an outdoor gas grill and Blackstone available. A refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot are available as well. We have a shared bonus room available for your use that includes a stove, another large TV, and a half bath. The bed linens are provided along with bath towels and dish towels. There is a fire pit (you will need to provide the wood) and plenty of chairs for your outdoor enjoyment. The Eagle Cabin is a beautifully decorated loft bedroom cabin overlooking Rend Lake. The cabin is a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath cabin with a beautiful staircase leading to the loft with views of the lake. There are 3 TVs-one in living room and 1 in each bedroom. There is a spacious front and back yard and also an extra lot. Picknick table, outdoor swing, and charcoal grill. Full kitchen with everything from kitchen utensils, dinnerware, cooking ware, dish soap, laundry soap, dryer sheets.

We have 2 long driveways on each side of house with outdoor electrical outlets for boat batteries for parking.

Your camper is located at Old Bates campground approx 5 minutes from Rend Lake and all it has to offer. There's a shower house and coin laundry for your convenience.
Your camper has a large covered deck, gas grill, fire pit and a couple of lawn chairs. Apartment size refrigerator, microwave and camper style stove. Coffee maker k cup style, pots, pans, plates, basic cooking utensils, silverware and drink ware are provided. With plenty of room in your yard for activities and to park your boat.
All you need to bring is your toiletries. Sorry their is No smoking and No pets allowed in camper.

Come stay at Black Bear Cabin located just 10 miles from Rend Lake and just minutes from Benton County Club. We have covered parking for your boats and cars. With plenty of room for the family and lots of room for parking. We have Lots of things to do at the cabin. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
Black Bear Cabin is a very cute Cabin decorated in lots of bears. The kitchen has everything you would need to make a meal. There is a large bathroom with a shower. The two bedrooms are very spacious. There are three televisions in the cabin.
Guest access
The entire cabin is yours to enjoy. I have one closet that is locked in the cabin and one closet locked in the pole barn.
Other things to note
Black Bear Cabin has a covered boat parking area and electric hook up to charge your boat batteries. We also have a gaming room in the pole barn. We have nice seating on the front porch and the back porch to watch the wildlife. We allow a dog for a fee of$40 per stay. If a pet is brought on the property without paying the fee an additional $100 will be added to your stay. You will be responsible for all damage by pets.

The guest that books our property must be present durning the entire stay. The guest is responsible for any damage that happens to the property. There are no drugs allowed at the property.

Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Other things to note
The tiny house is on the edge of a very peaceful town. The only noise you might hear is from a train or two that runs through town. The cottage is next to our other tiny house on the property, so you will be sharing the parking lot with the other guests. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles per house.
