- "I really hit the jackpot when I selected this property. I was greeted and warmly welcomed at the door by host Rena who showed me around. Her motherly spirit was evident in the care she put into the unit. From extra towels, to water and orange juice in the fridge and cookies, apples, and flowers on the dining table. The bed was wonderfully comfy with extra blankets available in the closet. As a single female I also appreciated the very bright automatic light that comes on as you approach the door after dark. The construction of this unit was clearly a previous part of the family home that had been sectioned off with a wall to create a self-contained separate external locked-door-accessible apartment. Homey wooden floors, an immaculately clean bathroom stocked with all the amenities of a better hotel, a dining table with two chairs, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, and an electric kettle were all included. I work in real estate in Tokyo and we call this a "grandmother's apartment" because often an extended family here has a separate attached residence for grandma as part of their home. The neighborhood is best described as upscale and is a network of wide tree-lined streets of family home after family home. Very safe and easy to walk, with lots of free street parking available too. The house was very clean and exactly as shown in pictures! It was very comfortable. The pool and back yard was extremely nice with both sunny and shady areas, with plenty of chairs. It has 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8 comfortably in beds. 3 kids needed to sleep on the floor on mattresses. The location was great for our purposes (it is located on a main street). The only issue we had is we would have like to have a toaster. The appliances all worked great. Anytime we needed anything, George was very quick to reply and take care of whatever we needed. I would highly recommend George and this house!"

- "Pro: well equipped large home; clean; secure; near shopping and restaurants; communication with the owners was excellent; Con: the unit is located very close to a major road, and while the noise volume is ok in the downstairs, the upstairs area is extremely loud, during the day and particularly at night, making a good night sleep difficult. Would recommend using the downstairs bedroom where the noise is hardly noticeable rather than the upstairs."
